I could already call it that it won't initially be announced for the PC.
That's a prediction, but one with valid bases.

- Announced prior to E3

- If they don't get a floor demo like for MK9, a new trailer will be shown at E3

- Console exclusive guest characters will be in the game, but not announced until later

- Release window of Spring 2015

This is just a sort of general prediction post with some E3 thrown in:

- I can see a countdown coming on Noob.com or maybe something more on the WB promotion side, leading up to the reveal trailer at E3.

-Trailer will be narrated by Keifer, just as he will be the narrator in the game, not voicing any character.

-The game will be MK10, even if part of me is starting to wonder if Sutherland coming on board means the next game is an MK action game.

-The game will be released on XB1, PS4, 360, PS3 same day and a port to Vita later. A port to Wii-U will be "considered" but ultimately won't happen. Same goes for PC.

-The trailer will show off highly detailed in game characters with new, more realistic / real world looking styles.

-The trailer will have a dark, post-apocalyptic feel to it, and the storyline will be the Netherealm invading Earthrealm.

-The returning cast will receive major makeovers except for Scorpion and Sub-Zero, who will get small modifications. Sub Zero will be human again and maybe, just maybe we see Hanzo instead of Scorpion, even if he'll have a spear and teleport.

-Bold Prediction: The only returning post MK3 characters will be Tanya, Fujin, Quan Chi, Sareena (if you count her first fighting game appearance) and Shinnok (who will not be playable this time around).

Sure hope not. I'd love to main Shinnok in MK10.

I'm with you there. I don't see it being released for PS3 and XBOX360. If we're looking ahead to when the game will most likely be released (Spring 2015), the new consoles will have been on the market for a year and a half. There will be a good sized install base by then for the new platforms and the old consoles will most likely start being fazed out, slowly but surely.

Besides, I don't think Ed Boon and the team at Netherrealm want to hold anything back for the new title. MK 2011 was a great starting point, now it's time to pull out all the stops for the next gen systems.

Please make Shinnok playable & unplayable!

-a newer trailer than the reveal trailer, showing off gameplay, characters, stages, fatalities, and some of the modes it will have

-probably be narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, as most agree with

Some details from developers in the past:

-Ed Boon had stated that he wants to go next gen, in one of the interviews after MK9 released, but before Injustice.

-To fully take advantage of their ideas, they could only go next-gen (current gen, PS4 / Xbox One / Wii U) and maybe PC later down the line.

-Before the release of MK: Armageddon, there was a Game Informer article that mentioned that Ed wants to wipe the slate clean with the characters. Still 2 games later, that didn't happen. Maybe this time they can introduce as many new characters as they can for MK10.

-Scorpion and Subzero will be in it. They will be in every MK, unless character specific side game.

-I don't think the game will be called MK10 or MKX, but maybe a have a title like "Deadly Alliance", "Deception", etc.

-Game will most likely retain the 2D fighting plane, more realistic graphics for the characters. Modified and advanced version of Unreal Engine 3 like Arkham Knight. UE4 to my knowledge is not out yet? I could be wrong on that, but I know there was a demo of it.

-X-rays were very well accepted by MK fans worldwide, most likely will return.

-Fatalities should still be 2 per character, 3 for some classics.

-Return of stage fatalities (duh)

-Friendships?

There will be a trailer.

Why the hell does everyone want the next game only on next gen. I only have a xbox 360 and i aint got the money (and dont want) to buy a ps4 or xbone. Your not the only people on this planet, you know.

Something wrong with wanting the best MK possible? If it's wrong to want a game that looks and plays better then I don't want to be right.

And what? Leave us current gen users out just because of this.
They can make it awesome with brilliand graphics, and still port it on both current and next gen, just like bungie are doing with destiny and respawn are doing with titanfall. Making it only on next gen would be a major slap to the face for current gen users like me

Agreed. The next gen systems are here and thats where developers should have their focus. Making multi gen games means a severe lack in quality to have to cater to those decade old systems. Time to focus on the now. I want the best quality MK possible. Unreal 4. Near photo realistic graphics. Features galore. Only possible on Xbox One and PS4. They need to disregard the 360 and ps3 entirely for this.

If people are upset by this, they need to invest in the newer systems. That's where the future is.

Exactly this. Don't get me wrong, I too only own old gen systems (PS3 and Xbox360), but that's not holding me back from wanting MK only on current-gen (PS4 and Xb1).

I don't want MK suffer in quality for the sake of having it on all platforms both old and new. I will eventually own an Xbox1 due to Killer Instinct, but I still want to know what the graphical or performance differences will be for MK10 before I make my final decision.

My prediction? Ed Boon will troll us all the way up til E3, and then we won't get anything but more information on the Batman game.

We will get 1 trailer thats 60 seconds long.
And i think it will blow us away even more than when they showed of the first ever gameplay for MK9 which totally fucked my brains out when i saw it.

- A trailer will be shown much in the same vain as MK:DA
- Though Netherrealm themselves will only be developing for next-gen consoles, the team that ported Injustice to the PS4 will likely port the games to current-gen.
- As already predicted the game will use a heavily modified version of UE3
- Several characters killed in the lasts games story mode will return
- The story line will start out like MK4 but will but will change as the history is further rewritten
- The game will have a darker tone much like MK4 but more inspired by MKII
- Outside of Stage Fatalities there will be no background interaction, though the arenas will take damage throughout the fight
- Meter burns and X-rays will return
- Kiefer Sutherland will give an ambiguously evil monologue over the trailer, at the end of the trailer it will be revealed to be the voice of Shinnok
- The trailer will raise just as many questions as it answers
- It will be revealed that during E3 at WBGames booth that another team is developing Injustice 2 under the supervision of Netherrealm

Mark my words the game is going to come out April 15, 2015. They will say Spring 2015 but that's my predicted date. It'll be Next-gen only, with a PC port coming in the future. They'll have. 8 playable characters at E3 all returning no new announced at E3 those will come with the build up to the launch of the game.

Agree with all that apart from 8 characters at E3, I'm thinking 4 at first.

I thought the way they revealed MK9, the showcase at E3 and the lead up to its release was really well done.
Mortal Mondays and Fatality Fridays should return and maybe a public voted tournament like they did for Injustice.

Like in the e3 trailer of the rebooted MK of the fight between Raiden & Kahn, how about a fight with Shinnok vs either Fujin, Kai or Liu Kang?

I see a Game Trailer revel a week before E3

Narrated by Southerland (Voice of Shinnok) showing Scorpion vs sub Zero with a few seconds of Fujin there will stage transitions and damage not as grand as Injustice. X-Ray moves will be more like Super moves and characters will have a unique trait.

The trailer will end with a BRUTALLITY!!!!

Realistic prediction: April 2015 release date Demo for Christmas with 4 Characters and 2 Stages

Off the wall but might happen: MK vs DC TOO 32 MK fighters vs 32 DC fighters
