Does Mileena actually have a relationship with Baraka in the new timeline? I don't recall it?

What if Mileena and Baraka did have a child. Prior to Mileena giving birth, the baby slashed its way through her abdomen, killing Mileena and decapitating Baraka's head? The child was then raised by the other Tarkatans.

2) I had mentioned Liu and Kitana having a child, but, it was shot down due to their deaths. However, if they were revived not long after, then it would be a possibility.

Just because JC and Sonya have a daughter now doesn't mean that anyone in the MK universe that are somewhat compatible due to race or age have fucked just to reproduce. Does anyone here ask themselves, why the fuck would Baraka do Mileena and why the fuck would she be OK with it? What would he gain since Mileena is a mere clone with the mind of a child who has no real claim to anything? Have we ever gotten hints at those two having a secret crush on each other? From what I've seen, there's been nothing but hate and tension between those two. So now with no explanation whatsoever they decided to have babies? How? Why?

I much rather see a new Tarkatan not related to Baraka or Mileena. No need for everyone to be suddenly popping kids just for the sake of popping kids

Boon mentioned "new generation", meaning there will be more than just Cassie. In Adam's interview he mentioned that Baraka and Reptile has a child. As freakish as it sounds, I cannot wait for this child of theirs to be revealed. Possibly, the next "bad guy" reveal!

They did confirm that there's gonna be more than one descendant of old characters. So it ain't gonna be only Cassie.

A Tarkatan/Saurian hybrid would be terrifying though if you think about it. You have invisibility, acid spit, arm blades, gnarly teeth and a prehensile tongue oh and the bloodthirsty nature of tarkatans.

I know it won't be just Cassie but it has to make sense. Baraka and Mileena make no sense to me. Why? They hate each other and nothing in MK9 so much as hinted in that direction. Kitana and Liu Kang make no sense to me. Why? Kitana is DEAD even if Liu isn't. Reptile and Baraka? Seriously? I won't even go there.

Next Generation doesn't necessarily mean it will stay in the family. It just means a group of the younger generation will step forward in the game.

Ehhh... the love/hate stuff seems to have ended in the old timeline. Baraka tries to get Mileena to take the throne in MK9 after they all think Shao Kahn has died "because she is his heir."
Either way, it's such a minute gesture that it certainly doesn't confirm a romance between the two or insinuate they're going to get busy. Perhaps, if we saw more than the good guys' perspective in story mode, this wouldn't be such a grey area.

Only time will tell, though, on who's going to end up a couple.
