what i mean by that is the familar outfit and the mask that covers the face to hide there identity. here's 2 examples kasumi and ayne are ninjas from the doa series but don't actually look like ninjas.

would you want a new ninja in the next mk. if so would you or would not want the traditional uniform of the ninja. it be intersting to see ninjas not always wearing the same uniform, plus it makes the ninja look more of a human than just a thief.

Ninjas that don't actually look like ninjas?

I'm sure what you mean to say: Ninjas that dont look like normal Mortal Kombat ninjas. (Especially seeing as Kasumi's default costume is very ninjary. Surprised that Kitana or Jade hasn't worn something similar to be honest.)

And what I'm talking about is the generic ninja V garb with the little front flap thing. The costume that seems to be the default for a lot of costumes in Mortal Kombat.

Plus there is the whole argument that actually a lot of the ninjas in MK aren't really ninjas or don't act particularly ninjary.

I assume you mean like Naruto and dojo type styles...? If that is what you mean than it would be an ok idea to me. It would be kinda nice to see a change in the forms of the ninja like that. Like in Naruto they each have a look and a personality to fit the appearance. Its what makes a character unique. Granted most ninjas utilize the same gear give or take.An example being things like throwing stars of all types, kitanas, traditional tabi foot wear and so on. It also depends on the time zone or era of the gear too. But yeah,I myself would welcome new ninjas like that. why not?
