The constant demand for Tanya to be brought back in MKX, would make it so satisfying for me if she didn't return. And I actually love the character. I've long though she deserved another chance. But those fans of hers, UGH! Can you believe that, being happy at the prospect of someone I like not returning, all because the masses also happen to like said someone, and are so annoying about it?

In my experience, the majority of people are frequently stupid. It can be so much fun when developers, producers, writers etc deliberatly spite them. Sure, sometimes listening to the majority can be good, and not just for the sake of business or popularity, but caring what the masses think often proves to be an hindrance.

In Tanya's case, it's funny that once, the masses hated her guts. Now they worship the very ground she walks on, but still display that same stupidity by rejecting other characters the same way they rejected her. Why are most MK fans now requesting Tanya, but would probably pop a vein if they got Li Mei, or Kira, instead? What's also funny is that Tanya's return in MKD was both unexpected, and unwanted by many fans. They've grown to love a character that the developers brought back IN SPITE of what they wanted at the time. Goes to show what happens when you disobey the fans, sometimes.
