Did I Miss Something? (Mileena)

So, whenever I come on and people post the "rumored" and "confirmed" character lists, they always tend to include Mileena in the confirmed list.

Is there some article, or video, that I missed that someone from NRS legit CONFIRMS her as playable? As far as I know there's no solid proof... just assumptions.

Yeah, she's a big part in the story, or so we think, and she has a new design, but I refuse to get hyped over my favorite character being in it until I see or hear SOLID proof of her being in it. I've been slowly dying for confirmation since the Story trailer premiere. I check here every day, and just wanna make sure I didn't miss something cause apparently I did?

If she is in, I'm elated and ecstatic, but I just don't wanna get overly excited and happy until I know for sure, cause if she ends up not in, I'll cry.

It was confirmed in the press release that came with the Story Trailer that Mileena, Jacqui, Kung Jin and Takeda are playable.

Usually I heard if some gameplay or screenshots of Mileena in action that is confirm her to be playable. But I haven't seen either just cameos of her in the story mode trailer

Kotal being playable is proof that she is playable. The story arc that deals with the outworld throne has been confirmed. That and it's mileena. There is zero evidence of her sitting one out, the evidence stacks against it.

~I dont think she has been confirmed playable~

I am unaware of any press release stating so. I think people are just assuming so based on the story trailer.

Just take a look at the "core" roster. All Trilogy era characters.

At this point, she is all but confirmed. Nobody (from the team itself, at least) has flat out said "Mileena is a playable character", but c'mon. With her popularity, there ain't no way she's missing out.

All the "solid" evidence is there.

It basically boils down to:

A. is she playable

or

B. is she the suprise end boss and nonplayble.

Most likely the first scenerio tho.

I still would not call that confirmation. That statement just presents the fact that Mileena was highlighted, along with the other three new comers, in the trailer opposed to the background characters like rain, baraka, li mei, etc written by a third party source.

Actually, li mei was pretty damn highlighted, tho not referred to by name.

i meant the story trailer... EDIT: reread your OP, ya its based off the story trailer and te roster leak thats why people add her well plus we see her in the living towers in one of the videos.

The video came with a press release naming Mileena, Takeda, Jacqui, and Kung Jin. I do not throw around the word "confirmed," but when WB issues a press release, I think it's a safe bet.

Man, the problem with people over-investing in speculation has gotten so bad that people are resisting officially confirmed facts now. This is so Twilight Zone.

The simple answer is no she hasn't been confirmed yet! Yes she is extremely likely however there has been no confirmation nor has there been any confirmation for the following but everyine on here loves to confirm them; Liu kang, Sonya, johnny cage, Jax, shinnok and kenshi. Yes some of them are "likely" but none are confirmed so until nethereealm or ed boon confirms then the leaked roster is just a guess it may turn out out to be an extremely accurate guess but there is no confirmation yet.

So just to repeat list of characters not yet confirmed to be playable;

Liu Kang
Sonya
Johnny cage
Jax
Mileena
Shinnok
Kenshi

There's no official confirmation, but her statue model is seen in the Living Towers mode. Along with Sonya, Jax, Kung Jin. And people say Liu Kang due to the headband, but I say it's Takeda.

I'd like to think this here confirms her as playable.




It also looks like she's underneath someone so I don't think she'll be a boss of any kind.

I think I would be devastated when she is not playable, but I have a good feeling about it
