I'm pretty sure they are going to be added in certain towers like when they do the MK1 tower.

That's all on-disc stuff though right? I was under the impression all this ever-changing faction/living towers stuff are things they implement outside of the on-disc content.

If that's the case, I wouldn't be surprised if the story NPC's and future DLC characters pop up before release in these faction things.

Speaking of things we don't know how to unlock, anyone figure out the revenent skins yet? (Aside from Sub-Zero)...

Or Dark Raiden, or the extra Cage and Sonya skins, so on and so forth...

I know Sub is the test your might tower, and Mileena is Endurance/Survivor, anyone figured out the rest?

I believe Revenant Kang is 5 towers in a row but I'm not sure. Haven't done it for myself yet, just what I've read.

- Dark Raiden is purchased from the Krypt.
- Lieutenant Sonya (or whatever it's called) is unlocked by completing her chapter in story (I think. It happened for me, anyhow.)
- Hotshot Johnny is still a mystery.
- Hanzo Scorpion is from completing his chapter in story.
- Rev. Kung Lao apparently comes from 25(?) KOTH victories (non-private)
- Rev. Jax can be unlocked via (consecutive(?)) flawless victories (often achieved in Kustom Kombat.)
- Rev. Liu Kang may come from 5 consecutive Tower Challenges (not Living, but player-made(?))

As for the others, I cannot recall.

Hopefully, they all work out. I haven't gotten any online-related ones, but based on a ton of other threads I've read, those seem to be the guidelines.

If you're going for the Jax one, the recommendation is to do Kustom Kombat, select the Danger modifier and keep getting flawless victories. From what I've gathered, it can be done in 10 or so matches.

I wonder why these costumes seem to be so random across the board.

I've started to notice a pattern on the Sky Temple Stage Playing on Medium. If I haven't lost a round and its the fight before Goro ( out of 25 characters it has happened 3 times) When the 2nd Round starts there are Two Tornados instead of one. I will SCREAM XBOX RECORD THAT when it happens again.

Also on the Quan Chi Fortress Stage I've read in the comments of several streams that the Shao Kahn Reverent puts on Shao Kahn's Helmet if you get a flawless victory in the first round on hard.

I hope it's true but everyone was calling the guy a liar..

Number 1:

Shao kahn is the Secret Fight on quan chis fortress- In the map a body grows bigger and bigger and it looks different than the average person so it could be a renevant shao kahn but I doubt they make him a unlockable instead a boss. I think this is the most likely scenario.

Could it be that the secret tower fight is not on the disk and will be on an online tower because that would explain why nobody found any other files for any characters, Nrs are very quiet about this could they be preparing him for a later date on a tower? still an interesting theory and correlates with the trolly cassie cage comment but I cant see this happening I would be very surprised.

I wouldn't bet on Kahn though: Urbano already deconfirmed him last year.
Fujin,however...Well,I would certainly like him to return,but IDK. I just think it's Boon trolling us again.
Maybe we'll get Noob,using his MK9 moveset,or something.

yeah. sadly,I honestly think Fujin has no chance of returning in MKX,I mean,i know he's a story mode NPC,and I know that's a living tower mod,but still. Something tells me that NRS doesn't know what to do with him. TBH,i'm honestly disappointed. he's in the same boat that Tremor and Shinnok were at one point: good concept,but a lot of untapped potential. Well,here's hoping for MK11.

The Shao Kahn thing doesn't seem to be too far-fetched.

Well in that video where Boon plays Conan, Conan asks what who the big guy growing in the fortress is, and Tyler says "Spoilers" and Boon says he's "A revenant in training" and considering Shao's entire set of armor is in there, and his big ass wrath hammer is too...I wouldn't be surprised if Qaun Chi or whoever has access to the fortress was trying to clone him/make a revenant version Shao in there.

BUT is he the secret fight?

Knowing NRS, the secret fight will be Reptile in his classic outfit in the classic tower coming this week.
