Decisive battles in MK7 will show up in single player mode when two characters have the ability to drastically change or advance story line points. This match has special character intros and each potential victor will result in a different in-game cutscene at the end of battle.
These battles will also show up in Vs mode when two rivals are matched against each other. Story cutscenes will not play at the end of battle. However, the special character intros will be shown at the beginning of the match.

Others have had this idea also. It's like Soul Caliburs destined battles in a way. If arcade mode did become more story focused, these would be nice to see. I like the idea of different results having different outcomes on the final cutscene.

yup kinda like Soul Calibur. In-game story cutscenes would work great for future MK fighting games because it has such a rich mythology.

That is like Bushido Blade 2 for the Playstation. That was a very creative idea for a fighting game. Depending on what you do, the character's story turns out different while playing the game. For instance if you killed a certain character you would have to fight another character instead of someone that you could have fought if not for killing the one previous.

The endings could play out differently, but I doubt the idea I have going would be put into a game because it would be alot of work.
