According to what I read, they made gold a lot harder to get so you may be enticed to actually use money to buy things in the game... I was told pre patch you would get 2500 gold for a boss win, now its only 200 gold. They say some are really upset because the company did this after its review of the game before this day one update, but now they changed it as a ploy to make more money...
