Dante for MK10?

I would rather have the new DmC: Devil May Cry's Dante to appear in the next MK as a guest character, should I choose one of the Dante's there are in the gaming world. He's an urban demon hunter as opposed to some medieval guy, so I think he would fit into MK alot better due to the consistency of the timeline, instead of pulling another Kratos, a dude from the past suddenly popping up into MK's current timeline...

I do like the choice I will not lie, either one is Dante, and either one is badass. I cannot and will not find a reason to debate because I respect that idea and like it myself. And yeah, pulling Dante from DI is kinda the same as Kratos, almost an exact copy. But now it's to get Capcom to agree.

If Capcom would gain profit from it, I'm sure they would agree. However, it may not only be Capcom that NRS should talk with, but also Ninja Theory since this Dante is partially their creation as well. I'm actually not sure who holds the rights to this character.

I bet my money Capcom would have the rights considering it is redoing one of their characters. But I am eager to see how this Dante plays out, DMC4 was rather bleh to me.

I based it mainly on the game Dante's Inferno, but with a MK twist. Since Shinnok slain Lucifer in MK, figured he could replace Lucifer this go around.
But it just hit me! They could make a game completely based off MK Conquest! Since it is about the same time period, they could actually make Dante fit perfectly.
They could go that route but I don't think they will. I don't think they have enough material from Conquest to make a whole game out of it.

wow i came from the devil may cry forums mk talk about dmc and dmc talk about mk
dante for mk 10 though im not sure he really fits in to be honest but if he was he has to be DMC dante not DmC dante
