Omg yes. I love that you brought it up. If Ermac was revealed I might die of a heart attack. But if a new character with mystical powers was revealed I would absolutely pumped!

Which leads me to a question; are you guys hoping for multiple reveals at gamescom, cuz I am! If it is just Kano I might also die of a heart attack by being so underwelmed EDIT: I'm pretty drunk right now

Don't forget that only Kitana, Liu Kang and Sub-Zero may come back from the dead in many opinions, because those are cool, and the other dead are not, so it doesn't make sense for the non-liked dead to come back, but it does make sense for the popular dead to return. Oh how I crave for Nightwolf, Kung Lao, Shang Tsung, Jade and Kabal to come back over Kitana or Liu Kang.

Anyway, i'm craving some NON MK1 characters being revealed, really, don't care for the mk1 characters, MK 2 till MK 4 + Havik is where my interest lies, but till now nothing from there being revealed, only the entire MK1 cast. I also love new characters (non human, and non special forces) to be revealed!

Could anyone explain me why Tanya has magical abilities? She doesn't have them in MK4 or in MKD. She is just a physical character.

Ashrah yes please. Seeing her kriss/light/voodoo abilities would look absolutely amazing in mkx. Plus if Ermac is in, I could see them having a great rivalry.

The potential is there. She worships an evil god (Shinnok), she has knowledge of ancient spells (her reason for serving Onaga in Deception), and conjures fireballs and turns invisible.

I, and some others, have felt it's pretty much been implied that she has knowledge of the dark arts. True, her battle style thus far hasn't been specifically magical, but with the variation system, it's possible to give her a style or two that focuses on her magical abilities and not completely change her "flavor", if that makes sense.

Seems like a stretch. But a stretch that I would be all in for. With 3 variations there is no better circumstance for your theory to materialize.

I think I did. I came in around Deception or Armageddon. Jaded-Raven is just a more active poster than I am. I mostly come on before/around a new game's release.

I really hope Ermac is revealed soon, and I hope he is sporting that mystic scarecrow look from the "fanart". I am lead to believe his moveset will be unbelievable after seeing Raidens gameplay.

I'm not picky about reveals, I'll take any character. But I'd love to see Shinnok again.
