I'm really hoping for Motaro. Maybe they have figured out how to include him now in to the 2.5D graphics game play mechanic. I can't remember if he died in mk9 story but hey, they seem to be in the resurrecting mood for this game.
Motaro... Immune to projectiles and X rays, but doesn't have a throw, jumps higher than a unicorn, shoots green energy from his metal tail... Maybe even uppercuts your head off as his fatality.

Motaro was (in a roundabout way) deconfirmed months ago. And yes, he did die in MK9 story mode.

I'm gonna be a broken record here, but deaths don't mean anything in Mortal Kombat.

That said, Motaro will not appear in MKX.

Nah Motaro sucked I even preferd moloch to him. I am betting for a large beast from the netherrealm beig the sub boss.

This is a way I could see him in, but I think it would piss people off. If they did manage to put him in, but made it so Xrays and certain specials don't work on him, he will be labeled as cheap and probably be banned from tournaments and online, so he would likely end up being NPC Sub Boss if anything, which would probably cause a shitstorm as well

Motaro was really cool back in the MK3 days but sadly I don't see him making a playable (or fightable) return anytime soon, or at least not with all four of his legs in tact.
