Man that Tremor NetherKast. Never voted never pushed for it but I saw the potential and looking at him now It's exactly what I wanted to see.

But now you feel my frustration towards Baraka and the Achievement leaks...Rain too but Baraka moreso.

It's a different issue entirely, but the frustration is the same.

Everybody who's not a fan: just treat him like a new character and you will see this whole thing differently. The potential of a earth based character are limitless. After the disappointment of him not being a klassik, I'm sure people will come around!

Calling it: The people who don't want Tremor will do a 180 after seeing his hopefully awesome game-play.

I'm actually rather surprised there is so much "negativity" around him. I thought people were begging for this character to be in.
And where in Trilogy is he then? I have Trilogy on the PlayStation, I 've never seen him in it. And he was supposed to be in, it still doesn't make him a Klassic character. Tremor has the same "status" as Skarlet. Are character born from rumors and hopefull ideas and now they turned him into a real character.

I like his design tho, except not yet sold on the mask. Looks like a gasmask at first sight.
It's all going to depend on his special moves if he's a good character. So I'm hoping for a lot of special moves using earth/dirt.

Ermac is the only true classic character that was originally a rumor.

He is the only one fitting this discription of newish ninja character. Further more, Skarlet was the newish MK character for MK9, so wy are we all surprised.

I for one am looking forward for the new Tremor he looks awsome. Personaly bring Baraka, Smoke and Havik in and the game will be the best of all. And remember Ed hinted there were more DLC characters comming, he hinted for one just a few hours/ days ago.

At this point there is nothing to feel about him.


Sure, everyone can be made amazing, he will probably have really good variations and will be done with proper care.

Hopefully he will be non-canonical to the storyline in the sense that he does not show up. Literally everyone else is more deserving of that spot, even Meat.

Ermac was also never a character to begin with. He was an error, hence the name. UMK3 was his first appearance.
And I think it was because of that ERror MACro, people started making their own rumors and that's how we got Skarlet. And now Tremor.
So, let's call it a fan-based rumor then.

He actually physically appears in MK:Special Forces.

I'm super freaking happy tremor is in this game. I wanted to see him in mk9. But mkx outdid my expectations. He looks stellar. I can't wait to pick him apart.

Pretty much that first paragraph. I've always wanted Tremor to get his due justice. He has a ton of potential and deserves to be given a chance. I also think he was going to be in the game before that petition.

I think he was a rumor even before that game, was he not? I know he was in Special Forces, but I've never played that game.
But I 'm not 100% sure of it. Depends on after which game Special Forces was released. I thought he was rumored even before that game.

Those who are complaining are doing so because characters that they want their favorite character in that spot instead.

Like Baraka, noob, smoke, cyborgs, rain and even lame skarlet

Over new characters and 3D era characters that were not park of mk9

So I'm actually happy that is Tanya and Tremor even though a lot of people who consider themselves MK fan don't know who they are, but at least is a new experience for them and not a mk9 part 2

Tremor is a classic character. Doesn't matter if MK:SF flopped, it's nearly twenty years old, and Tremor is still popular.

My point being that characters that existed before maybe MK:DA are all classics. Even those Centaurs in MK3's story pictures and the giant robots in MKM count as classic.

Reason I'm not sure MK:DA characters count as classic ones is because the game's only twelve years old, and MKD and A aren't even ten years old yet.

I am not pleased that we get Tanya and Tremor as DLC. I wanted Sektor, Rain and/or Cyrax but we get none of them. What a waste.

I want as many characters as possible, especially old revisits, so i'm theoretically happy. I wanted Tremor as a fully playable character in MK9 after i saw the vita challenge tower. (It's worth noting, that i also wanted the Zombie/Director/Stuntman/Ruutuu from CT as well, because they all had the unique moveset except Zombie had one special move too. I also wanted Cyber Reptile & Skarlet as non-canon alts too. Anything less feels like a missed opportunity.)

This time around, though, Tremor looks so much more than just 'the Brown ninja', and i think it's about time too. Such a shame about the whole DLC business though.

Tremor has a vocal fanbase, but has always had an equal amount of detractors. He's never been in an actual game before now; using the monkier "classic" to describe him, to put him on the level of the MKI-3 cast, for example, strikes me as inherently, terribly wrong. By this logic, No-Face is also a classic character.

Tremor being in the Kombat Pack is kind of a dream come true tbh. I've always wanted to see him in a main-stream fighting game and his premise and backstory have always interested me. He looks really good in the trailer and I'm so fucking pumped to play as him. Really happy at the moment!!!

I'm also not surprised at all at the massive split down the forum at the moment. It feels like a gang war at the moment between the peole who are hyped for Tremor and the people who hate Tremor.

This however is completely right. Tremor is by no means a 'Klassic' character and it's a dick move by NRS to class him as such. That's my only gripe with Tremor so far but I can easily look past it.

It's definitely weird to call Tremor a "Classic". Classic doesn't just mean older -
"judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind". I don't think anyone thinks of Tremor as the highest quality of mk characters lol.

The "Klassic" using to describe him is purely marketing. If your call your guest "iconic" then your have to call your own something just as interesting. It's not really something to argue over.

Overall though, I'm excited as all hell to play as Tremor. He will virtually be a whole new character to most, and he has a lot of potential. I get being bummed your favorite isn't in, but I see it as I would rather make more favorites than only have a couple of characters I'm exited to see.
