Somewhat close to mine. While I don't care for Daegon I'd pick him any day of the week over Taven. Daegon at least has somewhat of a personality. As for Liu Kang, meh, I'm kind of tired of him. Unless they could do something fresh I'd rather he just be DLC.

I'd like to see some of the DLC characters(like Rain)be in the MKX story mode. Also, having each character with there own story mode would be awesome!

I was inferring if Liu Kang is confirmed, he might be a random staple for a potential Deadly Alliance with Shang Tsung because they've both been killed by their masters and they seek revenge on both Outworld and Earthrealm by siding with Shinnok, but Shinnok could use them to counter Quan Chi's betrayal should the need arrive. It's after someone's speculation on Liu Kang's future, but I thought I would give him a try.

Also, I think Daegon is a perfect Segway behind who Mavado this mysterious trenchcoat man is actually serving and also to Taven who is still hibernating even though no one has reawakened Onaga or initiated Armageddon. However I have a feeling that both brothers WILL appear after MKX in order to address the Armageddon Question.

Here are the characters from MK4 onwards that I would like to see return. There's been some mention of new characters in this game but I'd rather they just fleshed out some of the existing ones from the past who have potential.
