the MK9 roster was perfect, all of the cast from MK1-3 + Quan Chi feel well developed and strong, MK10 should only bring in a handful of MK4-Deception characters and a couple of new faces back for the next game, personally I'd like to see these guys back with much stronger roles and good strong stories to support them along with improved moves/costumes etc:

Troll Chi was shoved in places in the story where he shouldn't have been, just to make the 'Shinnok's Master plan' ending work. Don't get me wrong, i like that he was there, but this:

Want to know who i think will be in the next game? There's another thread in this forum that explicitly states my opinion, but the ones i want to see most are:

Tanya, Fujin, Sareena, Nitara, Mavado, Hsu Hao (probably won't happen), Tremor

I think that Noob saibot shinnok rekio fujin blaze (from DA) and Havik

I will say, despite that there were a few things he didn't need to appear in (I will agree with you about resurrecting Sindel) I did enjoy that he made an appearance in this game since he WAS around during this time.

I got the impression that they wanted us to understand that he was around during these times, but they expressed that a little TOO much, if you catch my drift.

Hopefully, I would like to see Frost and Tanya to return, as well as majority of the cast whose fate's are still undetermined. And Sub-Zero, because you can't go wrong with this character unless you're playing Deception.

Now that game just fucking sucked.

Of course, anybody still alive is returning. So are the zombies and Liu. So, most of MK9 is coming back.

Shinnok, of course.

- Liu Kang, his eyes have been opened and he's no longer so merciful anymore.
- Kung Lao, I believe he faked his death from the 2nd tournament.
- Ermac, now that we know that Edenia resides within him as well as the King himself, he or 'they' should be a major character regarding that realm. Rain and Tanya will have ties to Ermac since Rain is King Jerod's son and Tanya is a traitor. It would be interesting to see.
- Johnny Cage, remaining survivor
- Sonya Blade, remaining survivor
- Raiden, still doing what he's doing
- Nightwolf could come back as a spiritual being.

I can't remember who all died but I guess they could be Quan Chi's zombie NPCs or maybe Smoke could be revived as LK-7T2 by Grandmaster Sektor. But the game needs some iconic females like Kitana or Jade, too bad they killed off half of the characters in one scene.

i want a new person with the mix of scorpion and sub-zero so if you like both you can use both.
