I noticed for the first time in a while (I think) they are keeping the character damage OFF. Which is interesting..
In an Interview with Steve Beran he mentions how sophisticated the new damage tech MKX will have, this opens the doors for many things (Brutalitys possibly?).
It must be pretty amazing since they've kept it hidden for this long.
That or they just want to show off the amazing design of the characters.
Thoughts?

I can't wait to get a good look at this.
I wonder if they will actually look like cuts and bruises instead of over exaggerated chunks of skin/flesh missing
I would like to see some cool damage.
For example it you fight Raiden, he is a being of element and takes a mortal form. itwould be cool to see when he gets damaged you see the lightening element within his body instead of flesh.

That would be really interesting...
If brutalitys return, this will look pretty amazing.

I seriously hope they let us turn battle damage off in this game. Even if it looks good (it looked horrendous in MK9), I like seeing the designs. Get that shit out of the way.

I agree. Not to mention I feel like it took away from some of the fatalities. Since your opponent was already a blood covered mess, especially playing the Pit Bottom.

Battle Damage has its ups and downs.
I always laughed at Jade trying to be a sexy pole dancer with several chunks of her body missing.

They need to tone that shit down for real. Exposed brain, missing eyelids, and literally chunks of flesh missing is just going too far. Bruising, blood, and torn clothing I can totally be fine with.
There's a fine line with battle damage.
