Cary Hiroyuki-Tagawas work related to MKX?

obviously it was confirmed that Cary will be reprising his role as Shang Tsung in the upcoming webseries based on MKX, but what about the actual game? I saw one ask.fm question directed as James Fink (take it with a grain of salt), which asked if Tagawa as Shang Tsung was true to which he replied yes. I'd assumed he was meaning the webseries, but it would be really cool if Cary has actually voiced Shang Tsung for his presumable inclusion in the game. Anyone hear any rumors?

If Shang Tsung is in MKX it would be awesome (unlikely, but awesome) if Cary voiced him.

Actually it was me who asked that! I'm a big fan of Tagawa's Shang, so if he plays the sorcerer in the game, I'm rooting for Shang Tsung to appear! Otherwise, I'm not interested in him to appear...
