canon endings?

Anyone else think we might have Canon endings this time? A few of mk9s were partiall, like Johnny cages . But since we see similar scenarios in multiple endings i think it's safe to say some will be Canon. Some of the most interesting ones won't be like quan chi and shinnok endings, cause they aren't going to be around for mk11 . But here are some very likely ones, raidens. Because he becomes dark raiden I think he will attack kotals forces and win, forcing kotals ending to be Canon by him asking the elder gods for a tournament to be able to defend themselves.The ending with jax and erron blacks encounter will happen, either jax or EB will bite the dust there. I'm hopeful Johnnys ending is also, so NRS has an excuse to keep Johnny young and bashing yamsacks for every MK to ever come!!glassesglassesglasses what do you guys think?

There's always a few canon endings or a few half-canon(where concepts are reused but not how they were presented). It won't be different this time.

I have a feeling Mileena's ending will be at least partially canon. While I can see her sitting out for the next game, I don't see her ever completely vanishing from the franchise. Her ending seems like a very blatant "undo" button for her part in story mode. I think this "multiple Mileenas" thing will be how they bring her back, but I don't think they'll follow through with the idea that someone created a Mileena army on purpose.

or just have Tsung(who's heavily hinted to be back) or another sorcerer resurrect her and Baraka.
hell,even Dark Raiden could count,as he resurrected Kang in the past.

I think NRS formulates these things with the notion of "we know people don't usually take these as true, but let's build a ramp for the next game, and when we get to making it we'll see if it still works." Deadly Alliance was best at this with the whole Dragon King setup.

When they start work on MK11, they'll revisit stuff like the airstrip and Kenshi/Tekeda vs. the Red Dragon and decide whether or not to build off of it.

I do think Ferra/Torr's ending is canon, though. It's the most characterization the two got, and if they can constantly swap in and out similar characters, there's no reason to keep that particular pairing. Maybe in a game or two from now we'll meet something like Zebb/Ferra.

I like to think they're all canon in the universe, just that they never happen to their characters, except the one who actually beats the lead boss.

Which means there really are Raptors trapped underground.

D'vorah just wants that godbod. Look out Raiden!

There are a bunch of Mileenas rotting in their tubes.

And Shojinko is dead... yay! **As for Mileena I hope they get more creative and have her damned soul find Ashrah's annointed blade, regain her form by killing demons and go after her Dark Empress Sister. Mileena, always a starscream, never a megatron.

From about MK2 onward, endings have always been at least partially canon, in the sense that they give an idea where the character is heading storywise. If not, they're basically just a play off of what you would expect from the character.

MK1 had Scorpion's ending being semi canon: the next game reveals that Bi-Han got killed off by Scorpion,although for the most part,MK1 endings are largely non canon,excluding Kang's ending and,to a lesser extent,Scorpion's ending.
regarding the potentially canon MKX endings. well,we know now Tanya's ending,and it does match up with what happens in Story mode(namely Mileena's death) so if they want to bring Tanya back for MK11 and keep Rain out of that game,they could make Tanya's ending canon.
