I am obsessed with the MKX roster. Someone answer these mysteries.
1 - First question... remember when Sonya and Kano were chained prisoners, in MK2?
And then they both became playable in MK3, the following game?
Well, what was the point of putting a chained Tanya in MK9? I am very kurious to know this.
2 - All of these 3D-era kharakters have no kameos anywhere (for the moment)... no appearance in any MKX komiks or trailers or screenshots :
Tanya, Kai, Nitara, Drahmin, Blaze, Hotaru, Darrius, Dairou, Ashrah, Havik, Kira, Kobra, Onaga, Shujinko.
Why? Anyone have an idea?
3 - Can someone konfirm which 3D-era kharakters were added to the deadpool and won't be playable in MKX? Mavado, Moloch, Hsu Hao, Ashrah... who else?
4 - About the Brotherhood of Shadow... who will join Quan Chi in this faction? (Because I like to believe that the factions are somewhat relevant to the MKX roster) Will Quan Chi only have revenants in his gang? If not... which kharakters could be in the Brotherhood of Shadow? Shinnok.... maybe playable.... who else??
5 - Last question.... if MKX will not have anything to do with MK4 or the 3D-era kharakters, and will mostly focus on the new generation....... why won't the MK team tell us all to shut up about 3D kharakters already? LOL??

1) There is no relation between mk2 Kahn's arena and the Koliseum. Tanya and Skarlet were just cameos. Boon wanted to add a new character at all costs, that's why Skarlet made the cut ad DLC. Tanya was considered but ultimately canned. Back in 1993 nobody knew that Sonya and Kano were to return in mk3.
Their cameo in Kahn's arena was just a reminder for the fans, you know "they are still alive, we haven't forgot a out them!"
2) Li Mei is rumored to be the girl interrogated by Cassie and Raiden in story mode. Bo Rai Cho made several cameos in mk9 (shang ending, Liu Kang vignette trailer). The red and black dragon have been estensively represented in the comics as well. Frost is another example of this.
3- Ashrah has not been deconfirmed yet. Hsu Hao, Mokap, Kobra, Meat, Sheeva, Motaro, Nitara are safe bets. Jade will be back somehow.
4- All the revenants, plus Scorpion and maybe Reptile, mileena and Baraka.
5- because they are not done yet with 3d chracters.
