A game tester apparently said on twitter(then took in down) that when you pick an Arcade Klassic Tower there is a cut scene of a Vortex of Blood above the tower you chose.

I'm quoting a response tweet from @lonsnow so take it as a grain of salt.


I believe after seeing the recent shot of the Arcade Tower with Goro as the Sub Boss and Shinnok as the Boss.

Would if the Secret Fight Achievement is similar to fighting Shadow Jago in Season one of Killer Instinct?

Fatality everyone up to Shinnok then you fight the real boss the Blood God. It would also be similar to MK9 fighting jade ( You Found Me Achievement) where to can't lose a round and have to beat Shang Tsung.

If you never fought Shadow Jago he is easily the hardest Boss fight in fighting game history.

Same guy said Jax has a Variation called All-American and he posted several screen shots from yesterdays leaks. So if we see some Jax gameplay and that's one of his variations the Vortex of Blood could be true.

I can't beat Shadow Jago, even on medium. He breaks every combo I throw at him then shadow counters me. I don't know who these other names people keep referencing "saying hi" are. Aria will be the official boss of KI. She drops in May.

I... I don't remember having much trouble beating Jinpachi... Even beat him with cheap moves for some of the characters, IIRC I got all the endings and I never learned to properly use most characters.

Hol' up, so are you guys generally accepting that Shinnok is the Boss and Goro, the sub-boss? I thought maybe that was a Challenge Tower or something? Looked at it too briefly...

There are no harder bosses than Azazel from tekken 6 and Alpha-152 from dead or alive 4.

Honestly, even if the blood god/boss is through the portal, that doesn't necessarily make it a secret. There were a few instances in past games where bosses weren't actually on the ladder...

In MK2, the Ladder was a mountain and Shao Kahn sat on top of it.
In MKA and MKU, the Ladder was in the foreground, and Blaze stood atop the pyramid behind it/Onaga stood in a Lava Pit behind it.

I would whip Azazels ass with Paul Phoenix and Alpha-152 with Zack. Shadow Jago is a beast, but the SNK bosses were just infuriating back in the day.

I never had trouble with Jinpachi, but Azazel was a friggin hack.
