Nay. Blaze looked mysteriously interesting in Deadly Alliance, but looked so lame in Armageddon. I do not want him to return.

I would be fine with him if he's normal sized. If they wanted to give him a new story he could be the fire god.

In my opinion, Blaze is just another one of those flop boss karakters : basic and almost useless.
Shao Kahn, Goro, Motaro, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi are the most flawless boss karakters in Mortal Kombat, in my opinion. Sheeva is okay, also.
Everybody else is a huge flopasss mess : Blaze, Onaga, Moloch, Blolock, Flopock, etc. Those bosses look like basic fanart. In my opinion.
I am so glad that MKX will NOT have "filler", flop-kind of bosses.
Everyone appears epik, so far.

I was thrilled to see Moloch's severed head in Quan's hand. Laziest boss design in any MK. Onaga had some design, but he was just a gargoyle with scales. Let us not forgot the best designed boss, Kintaro. Sure, Shao Kahn is THE boss of MK, but Kintaro's design oozes badass in every aspect.

The issue isn't whether or not he can be killed. It's that he was killed in the culmination of the original timeline. That he was killed atop the Pyramid of Argus has no bearing on if and when he should show up in the newer games because they went back and changed things.

He can still come about in this timeline. So great READY!!

That is, in fact, precisely what I've been saying.

He is kinda a relatively new character. They give him some decent moves, he could be useful.

Totally pro-Blaze here.
1. Storywise, yes, we need to know what's going on with him guarding the Dragon egg, the post-Onaga's monks corrupting him; and his mission involving Taven & Daegon, now that Armageddon had been "prevented" in a way, is his mission still applicable?
2. Gameplaywise, no, he isn't strictly speaking necessary given that so many other characters will also be using fire. However i'm all for giving lesser-loved characters another shot at glory, and yes, it would have to be 'human' Blaze a la DA, not 'boss' Blaze.

Remember, Delia is the one who created Blaze.
Blaze can look like he does in MKA, but as a normal sized character like how he is in MKDA. Although, he can look somewhat like Cinder from KI. Have cool lava moves and such.

Ah yes, because death in MK means so, so much. Heh.
Oh, and he was killed in the future, not the present.
But anyway, as for Blaze returning, I'm kind of indifferent. His orange blood was gorgeous, but other than that, he was just an alright character. He did make an unexpected boss, and I found it interesting how as a boss, he wasn't at all evil. But as a regular character, again, he'd be alright.
He'd make for an unexpected inclusion, admittedly, but that alone wouldn't be enough to make him more than an alright character. He needs a more interesting moveset, one that hopefully wouldn't be too similar to that of Cinder from Killer Instinct.
