So, I believe everyone saw the stream right? So when they show us the faction trailers we can see Kano speaking with Sonya in the middle of the Special Forces camp. Kano has alway been portrayed has having an survival instinct, he would never attack the camp in the open, otherwise he would declare war to the entire world (the Special Forces trailer says that it is now composed by the entire world).

One of the only possible conclusions I can come up with is that they are making an aliance, but what would make both of these factions team up?

Or it could be that Kano joined the bad guys again, but why do we see them surrounded by Special Force soldiers? He wouldn`t attack them alone, I`m sure of it.

Peace Proposal I'm sure of it. I have trouble identifying Kano as a "villain" in this game if he allies himself with Kotal and batshit Mileena.

It seems like he is playing on all sides. He worked for Mileena, given their intro. Gave weapons to Kotal Kahn, and gives Mileena's location to him, he fought for Shinnok in the Netherrealm War, and now seems to be making a deal with Sonya. He finally noticed that working for the bad guys ended in defeat.

Anyone else noticed hatless Sonya? Seems like her variations will each have: a beret, the other a cap and the last will be hatless.

Oh, Kano. Fighting for every side means you will win once and lose ten times over. Dirty rat has stayed alive this entire time though, so I'll give him that.

OFF TOPIC

Am I the only one 100% ready to see Kano kick the bucket in this game?

I just assumed that he and Sonya were circling each other to fight, but I hadn't considered that maybe they're trying to go beyond the 'rivalry'.

Could be interesting.

That brief exchange struck me, too, as a prelude to a fight. They were circling each other like they were about to end it once and for all. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking, because I don't at all like the idea of the two working together.

Sonya wouldn't bend for Kotal Khan, his threats, or his bodyguards; put a bullet in the emperor just for the possibility that he hurt her daughter; What on Earth could possibly make her, the leader of a worldwide military force, work with freakin' Kano?

My guess? This is following that "prisoner transfer" she mentioned in her reveal trailer. Kano was one of the prisoners, probably attempted a break-out, maybe killed a couple people, and she's down to terminate him (again?).

Can't wait for Kano to say to Sonya, "Hello baby! Did you miss me?"
