95% of those theories suck. The most plausible ones are Cassie kills Kano, and Kano kills Sonya/Johnny.

Of course Kano would have to kill Sonya and or Johnny early in story-mode, then by the end Cassie kills Kano.

In a way, I don't really want to see the rivalry thing any more because it's so boring. I don't want to see a revenge thing either.

Just move on NRS!

I do hope Kano kills one, probably Sonya, and either Cassie or Johnny kill Kano. Done and done.

Considering the jokes, you may be mathematically right.

I think MKX might be the endo for Kano but i also think Kano has MADE alot of enemies over the yr and due to his reveal trailer and other sources Kano might have made more so it may not be Cassie who kills off Kano!

But then again Kano has NEVERED died in any MK game. he has always survived!

I guess it's probable, but Kano will come back overhauled as a cyborg. Nothing like how Cyrax, Sektor, Smoke and Sub-Zero looked though.

I'd like to make clear the nature of these speculations:


1.Kotal Kahn will kill Mileena (since he is taking over Outworld, according to Boon on Raiden's release trailer, some speculated that Mileena is the legimate heir of Shao Kahn's throne)

2. Sub-Zero is not Bi-Han nor Kuai Liang (obvious reasons, both seem to be dead)

3. Liu Kang is not dead and will be back (MK9 ending is not clear about his death)

4. Liu Kang is dead and will be back (repating zombie Liu Kang)

5. No Liu Kang (dead and gone, or gone for a while, even if alive)

6. Liu Kang is the big bad (many speculated this)

7. Onaga is the big bad (I speculate this, but I'm not alone. Onaga's return is a prophecy, Raiden's changes are after MK1 events, and he returned in shorter time on the unchanged timeline)

8. Kano dies early (considering the timespan)

9. Raiden goes rogue (just like unchanged timeline)

10. Sektor is back as the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei (important character, speculated after Sub-Zero's variation)

11. Scorpion teams up with Sub-Zero (more than time)

12. Scorpions knows the truth about his family's death (like MK4)

13. Noob Saibot survives the Soulnado experience (speculated by those who want him back)

14. D'vorah is the Death Knight/related (Personally, I only know myself for speculating this, and I believe I started this one. The first and only mention of an insect in whole MK series is the Death Knight, a legendary warrior which the Bettle Lair, on Lei Chen Mountains, is dedicated to, and it's an arena of MK:D. D'vorah is not only insect like, but carries a pendant close to the Death Knight symbol and dresses the way the mainstream personification of Death does.)

15. D'vorah 'dates' Kotal Kahn (after Ed Boon's IGN interview)

16. Shinnok will be one of the bosses (speculated since MK9)

17. Ferra/Torr is related to Kotal Kahn (I also keep this one, but many others too. Ferra is indigenous and Kotal Kahn is aztec. Also, there's a statue on the Jungle stage that is close to Ferra)

18. Mileena is one of the rulers of Outworld, no deaths (for those who don't want Mileena out)

19. Cassie Cage kills Kano (speculated just after the leak)

20. Kano kills Sonya/Johnny (speculated just after the leak)

22. Raiden did not prevent Armageddon, only postponed (I sustain this one, some agree, and I have posted about it on Shao Kahn's death topic here. Raiden's amulet marked his death, not Armageddon. By taking Shao Kahn to the Elder God's judgement, he only prevented Kahn from existing in the same hour, day and year that the armageddon from the first timeline happened, so, there is no Kahn to kill him, that's why the amulet is fixed, and he mistakenly thinks Armageddon is prevented. Armageddon is set by other causes.)

23. Kotal Kahn is a God (according his variations and he seems to be based on Huitzilopochtli)

24. Kotal Kahn is a fake (seeing HD pictures of him, it's clear that he paints himself. Some speculated he is a fake)

25. Ed Boon is a playable char (speculated)

26. Sub-Zero is Sub-Zeros cousin (via Boon's speeches)

27.Sub-Zero is Shao Kahn (speculated on TRMK)

28. Kitana is back (who knows how) ("Nobody dies in MK" thing, by Boon)

29. Mileena won't be in the game (speculated in the Kotal Kahn throne discussion too)

30. Sub-Zero is Bi-Han or Kuai Liang (obvious reasons)

There are only two probable ways, resurrection or undead.

Maybe I am a lil off topic, but I don't see Kano killing Sonya and/or Cage, not even after they generate Cassie.
