We finally can purchase decent statues of different MK karakters.

However, we still don't have an actual artbook! Why? I'm mad.

Will we get a real artbook, to coincide with the release of MKX?

Street Fighter has many great artbooks... I'm waiting for MK to do the same...

Instead... all of MK's artworks go into the Krypt! That's a bummer. I want all of the art to be printed in a nice book! An actual book, not some small, cheap pamphlet.

Oh well. I wish.
I hope so, but as of right now nothing has been officially announced.

You can also make your own? If the artwork was to end up on a website, you can download the contents onto a memory stick or your cell phone (if you have one) then take it to a photo place and print everything out. Then put it all together! Just a thought.

That's too much work, I'd rather just buy a collectors edition with an art book inside

True, but, what if we get the comic book as stated in that thread instead? Guessing we'll have to accept the artwork in the Krypt, if we even get one that is...

If we ever get one again, it needs to be MUCH better than the last one. The one from MK9 was so bareboned and "weak"

What's the point? Any art that was in the last one could all be unlocked in the Krypt.

I hope that what was released is just a European version similar to MK9 and Injustice

I think that a kickass bounus would be a playable version of MK9 Komplete Edition on the Xbox One

I'd rather have a art book instead of the krypt, the krypt is overdone and mostly filled with useless stuff and items, I'd rather that time and resources be spent on story mode and alt costumes ,

No thanks, I will stick with the Krypt.

When I look at art I go for the fan made stuff as it differs from the developer's vision.

A comic on the other hand would be a fitting alternative to the inclusion of an art book. I want new MK comics which explain the game events in more detail like the new ones for Injustice.

I mean, I guess not. This whole thread should be thrown in the Kollectors Edition topic.

I would like to see a comic book , a new series reflecting the new game give us issue #1 with the game then release more in the months after the game is out like a 6 or 12 issue run,

Now if they went the art book route i want like 300 pages every sketch and idea that went into mkx from pre-production to final renders ! Now that is an art book

I'm also fairly upset about this. With the art direction going into this, you'd think one would be included.

Unless of course, it's coming after the game releases in something like what God of War Ascension did and they wait to release it until all DLC is done so nothing gets spoiled til later.

I'd be down for that, but generally, I'd love some news on this soon and some clarification. I've been asking for what seems like forever about this.

They could do the ultimate Mortal Kombat artbook :
Everything from MK1 to MKX, renders, sketches, deleted concepts, etc.

Go tell Ed Boon you all want something like this. Come on, I want an official MK artbook. Hardcover and whatnot, maybe a DVD could be included.

Warner Bros is late. That MK9 mini flop artbook doesn't count.

I'd very much still like to see this happen.

A complete artbook would be fantastic. However, just MKX would be FANTASTIC.

Anyone on twitter HAS to ask these guys! Get on them!

We gotta get this going!

I would love an artbook of this game but maybe it's all being saved for the krypt?
