I wouldn't call them a shoe in for MK7, that's jumping the gun a bit. Everybody thought MKD would be their time to make it back to the main series (Sektor was even announced), due to MKTE storylines, but in the end, neither character made it.

I think Sareena has a bit more of a chance, although both are likely to make a comeback.

Like red_dragon said, the odds are good but I wouldn't say it's a guarantee. Sektor and Sareena were heavily rumored to be in Deception but were left out for whatever reason.

I personally think they'll make it in. They're overdue for a return...Sareena especially.

Thanks to MK:TE, I would have sworn they'd be in MK:D... But they skipped a game. Though I expect them to be in MK7... I just hope some of my favorites from MK:D don't end up skipping out this time.

Like everyone else, due to MK:TE I thought Sareena and Sektor would be in Deception for sure. I thought it was Midway's way to introduce them to the story.....but not just go and throw them straight into Deception.

Personally, I dont really like the cybrogs that much. I think that Smoke will mroe than likely return, and for me one cyborg is enough. but Sektor does have a good chance.

I do think however, that Sareena has a much much greater chance of making it into MK7. I think the Noob Saibot and Sub Zero storyline is gonna start to unravel in MK7, and Sareena is one of the few who was involved with both borthers. For me, she is a MUST because of- the storyline, the fact she is a fave of mine, the fact that she is long overdue a main-game appearance and that we need a stong female. The females for me in Deception weren't really that strong, in terms of being integral to the story....except for Kitana (involved with everything really except the Chaos/Order plot), but she wasnt actually playable. Is Sareena a sure thing......no. Noone is. (but a bloody good and safe bet I'd say).

Like the others, I too believed that Sektor and Sareena would be in MKD. I was disappointed that neither were, but then given MKD itself, I am actually glad they're not in it, especially Sareena.

Their chances of being in MK7 are great. Considering how the games have gone since MKT, MK4 had no cyborg, MKDA has Cyrax and MKD had Smoke. Sektor is the only one left to use and considering hs MKTE story, I would say MK7 will see him return in some awesome glory. Sektor also has the best story of any of the cyborgs.

As for Sareena, her involvement with Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei and her past involvement with Noob Saibot should earn her a place in MK7. Her overall storyline is easily one of the best in the MK series and I find it odd that they've never used her in one of the mainstream games before. Would say she and Sektor have good chances of being in MK7. Hopefully, it'll happen.

hopefully sektor and sareena will be make it this time in mk 7,they need to give these characters a chance based off of there interesting mk te storylines. hell cyrax got a chance in mkda, i see why not for sektor. i think sektor storyline has more of potential than cyrax did and as for sareena same thing goes for her, she has much potential as sektor. that's if they don't screw hers up. just dont have her become good then all of a sudden turn on subzero or what ever, that is way too predictable.

For me out of the 3 cyborgs Cyrax has the best story now. His ending in MK:DA could be taken in a lot of directions. For example what if he was sent back to Earth but was in the middle of Sektor's invasion?

Sektor and Sareena probably should make a return though. They are pretty involved in the story now. I mean one took over a country with cyborgs and another is involved in a sibling rivalry.

There's a good chance that they might return for MK7, but then, they might also return on the PSP version of MKD as well since it was announced that the PSP version of MKD will have even more characters, including Kahn and Goro. At first I thought that this was a lofty goal, but after seeing Libery City Stories for the PSP, I'm a bit more optomistic about the chance that Sektor and Sareena might be re-introduced in the PSP version. Hopefully, they'll also return in MK 7.

I think that Sareena will Return, but not Sektor. Why? His storyline does not have anything to do with coming back into the MK series plus he has only been in 2 MK games(not counting UMK3 or MKT). If he does come back, He will probably be a combo like Noob-Smoke with one of his robots from his robotic clan in Japan.

Well I think that MK7 should have to do with beating Sektors army and sektor will be the final boss but he would be a powerhouse like upgrades and stuff like that. Sektor would have a 60% chance of making it. Sareena i'm not so sure about maybe a 50% chance mainly because the BHOS doesnt play a big role in mk any more but thats just what I think.

Give Sektor a red lightsaber weapon or something, he should have moves like a teleport uppercut, the missle, maybe a homing one that hits sidesteppers and duckers, and a close range flamethrower attack that stuns them a little. That would be awesome.

They should bring people back like Quan Chi and Kitana. Didn't they origionally plan to put them in MKD? Oh, and the undead general, that would be nice.

as many other i expected Sektor and Sareena to be in MKD. especially Sektor. i was dead positive Sektor would be. damn aint i dissapointed

well Sektor better be in MK7. he better not get screwed out of 3 games in a row! i mean he WAS suppose to be in MKDA as well as Noob Saibot and Sareena. they didnt make it tho cuz they didnt have the time to get them in there. so they put them in MKTE. now since those 3 didnt make it in MKDA when they were suppose to i expected all 3 to be in MKD. well Noob made it. and well i guess they may have just replaced Sektor for Smoke in MKD for the purpose of the Noob-Smoke concept to work out well down the line story line wise atleast (since we know Noob was the original Subby now. bunch of story line potential for Subby, Smoke, and Noob now for sure). even Smoke having the tele uppercut that Sektor has in MK3 is perhaps a hint that they originally were working on Sektor for MKD. anyways as we know Sektor and Sareena got screwed out of MKD. Sektor at the least better not get screwed out of being in MK7. id like to see Sareena in there too but ill do without her as long as Sektor is in there.

I dunno if they are but it all depends on what's gonna happen in the game next. I would like to see Sektor in the future game all because we haven't seen him in a long time!!! It was like he disappeared from the games completely, however they did bring back Cryax as a member of Special Forces. It would be nice to see how Sektor would fit into the game. Sareena, I think, need to be in a fighting game!!! She has a big enough fan base to put her in one. Plus, it would be interesting on how she will effect Sub-Zero's storyline.

Are they a shoe in??? Who knows, like I said it all depends on how they would effect the game or on what will happen in the next game. All we can do is wait and see.
