well,we don't know the secret fight in the Towers,and there are sections of the Krypt that remain vastly unexplored,so far.

Either they are hiding stage brutalities or friendships or even Hara Kiris. I just don't know.

I'm about 85% sure there is at least one secret character in the game. I'm standing by Ed Boon's comment back to the question of..

"So will we know the entire roster before it's released?"

"Well, yes it will pretty much be entirely known, but there will be at least one not known."

I think that you're onto something here just by virtue of the fact that all of the characters on the main roster (including Shinnok) have either been revealed in a trailer or in a Kast.

That said, there's every possibility that any secrets are gonna get leaked very, very soon.

I seen a Stage BRUTALITY on the Dead Woods kind of underwhelming you throw a log into your opponents chest.

I haven't seen this happen but you can fight Smoke during the tower.

That would be really cool, if there is a playable kharacter that we still don't know about. I doubt it but its possible. I just don't want there to be some ridiculous requirement to get it.

Someone mentioned that there is another option on the select screen to go to random select (pressing Triangle/Y). Perhaps a secret character replaces the random select on the roster select, since there is another way to do it.

well, I hope there's still something good to be found. don't get me wrong, I'm still ecstatic about the game, I just really wanted Fujin to be playable from day 1, and I thought he would be. Quite disappointed in that regard, but in light of an awesome surprise (Fujin being revealed as a super hidden character), I'm still glad they put him in story mode and hopefully he'll make it as dlc.

To be fair, the one unknown character could very well be Corrupted Shinnok. Does it count as a NEW unknown character to us? Maybe not. Could it to Ed? Youbetcha.

We're technically still not supposed to know about him.

Stage Brutalities have already been confirmed. They work more or less the same as regular Brutalities, just using the stage interactable objects. (God, I wonder if there's a Blanche one...)

I saw a VERY vague and iffy statement earlier today that someone claimed to have found a hidden fight with Smoke in the arcade ladder... but as far as I know it's thus far unsubstantiated and unconfirmed. That said, there is a hidden fight achievement... so. Could happen.

I totally do not think there are more secret unlockables though. Like Reiko, Li Mei or Fujin. People are setting themselves up for a letdown. This is MKD's "Super Unlockables" all over again. Ed often makes little thought out comments that the community runs away with and takes as the gospel truth about some grand speculation they're hoping for. And usually it was just a throwaway thing Ed said that was taken too far. These characters will be secret fights, or special event fights in the living towers if we're lucky. And will remain story only cameos if we're not lucky.
