I don't get how Erron not even being sure if he killed Kobra or someone else makes him more badass.

In fact, seeing him get slapped around in story mode and the only notable thing he's done is MAYBE killing Kobra of all people makes him seem like an even bigger wimp like I thought. A wimp who just has a mysterious look so people call him badass, like Boba Fett.

Erron Black turned out to be such a crap, disappointing character after all the hype.

The only 3D characters that were good were the female ones (well maybe except Kira, but she's definitely not the worst 3D character)

I wouldn't call him crap, I like some things about him, but he is sorta underwhelming after coasting in on the hype.

Same with Kotal. People tried to make them both out to be amazing but, oh well.

RazorsEdge gave a good point about Kobra though which actually makes me respect the character a lot more. He was totally the Cobra Kai leader turned up to 11. While his look is pretty bland, his story is actually pretty cool to me.

If NRS gave him his own cool look and a unique moveset, I would have loved to see Kobra back. But I see the deed is done now. Another 3D character gets destroyed and no one will see him again. Rest easy, Kobra.

I've said it before, there's nothing inherently terrible or shitty about any of the characters from the 3D games.

They're not more or less deep than the ones we've had, no more generic, etc.

The trilogy characters just have nostalgia on their side. And hell, the MK3 characters get shit on sometimes too for no good reason.
