I hope animalities don't come back, I don't like them too much as each one's animal was ultra random (Scorpion getting s pengüin instead of... you know... a scorpion??) and most of them don't even have reasonable ties to any particular animal (which in some cases was really ridiculous).

If we get a comical fatality back, I hope it's friendships. After the amazing job they did with babalities they could come up with something fun here. But that said, I think this is about brutalities as with the gore tech and all the x-ray stuff they could be... well... brutal!!

It could be Hara Kiris. They could also be enhanced with upgrated graphics and gore tech

You know, they almost had Brutalities in MK9. Indeed, the different combos that each character uses to beat Shao Kahn in arcade mode look a lot like Brutalities, so those animations possibly could be a relic of the scrapped system. Considering this, the chances of Brutalities making it into MKX seem pretty high.

Babalities were a "joke" in MK, however, they were hardly ever used, and the game was still pretty violent.. so, yes ANIMALITIES, please be back!

Anyway, why on earth do people want Animalities back so badly? They were put into MK3 solely to shut fanboys up and were completely out of place in the MKverse.

I'd much rather see Hara Kiris return. At least there's some sense of realism in those.

To me there is no doubt that it will be Friendships animated in the more cinematic style we've seen the fatalities in.

This, or possibly Brutalities, given their late abandonment in MK9 (the resources are probably still there, and I'd bet internet dollars NRS will refine and make use of them).

Animalities? Unlikely.

Although I'd prefer none of them come back and we just get more fatalities. My money is on friendships though, MK9 brought back babalities MKX will bring back friendships. thats my guess.

People that want Brutalities back the way they were in MK3 are insane!

The most boring things ever. With x-ray these things aren't possible because they go to fast for that.

They are boring and a pain to watch them.

I want them to return because they are so absurd. Silly? Sure. But so were the other finishers. Did they all end mostly the same? Yes. But so did Brutalities and people want those back. Both finishers can be more individualized.

While Animalities are no doubt the wackiest finisher, I love them for it. Finishers are all about "Over the top" and what's more OTP than turning into an animal?

I never liked Animalities, so I hope they won't return.

I Guarantee that it's brutalities only because Boon said they had great ideas for it and I never had enough time to finish it in mk9but at the same time I would love to see animalities but in a different form like since we have seen an animal in every background Except the kove which im hoping theres something in the water maybe they can use those for animalities

I always hated ANIMALITY, it's just too stupid. I always prefered MK over other fighting games, because it was a nice balance between a realistic and a over the top gruesome game. (that is why I hate MK3, it's like a bad joke to me)

BRUTALITY would make a nice fit, of course without the explosion, and the raining bones. Let it be more like a "beat to a pulp" move. With the next gen graphics, and some quality sounds, it would be really gruesome and disturbing.

Same goes for HARA-KIRI. MKD had some really bad ones, but there were a few nice ones. And the idea generally is good in my opinion.

FRIENDSHIP... I only prefer it over animality, so no (I never hated it, but as I see it, it's a waste of resource).

They said returning finishing move from the non-arcade MK's and someone said something about an all new fatality. So honestly I think Hari-Kari's are coming back, and there maybe some X-Ray infused version of a brutality, the tech is already there why not use it. I wouldn't mind seeing some humiliation finisher. Kind of a mix between a friendship and the Super Moves from Injustice.

Fatalities and hara-kiri are pretty much the only thematicallyconnecting finishers in the game. Friendships, not my style, but okay I guess.

Babality was lame, animality even more. Brutality is downright stupid: excess does not mean quality.

I have to agree with you here; Babalities, Animalities, and Brutalities, all seemed like filler finishers or easy ways to add more content to the games. From what I remember Animalities actually took a lot of work for the developers to implement, but the end result left something to be desired. Babalities and Brutalities on the other hand were all the same and left a "you've seen one you've seen them all" taste in the fans' mouths. To be fair, there were quick deadlines to be made and the resources weren't available back then to flesh them out.

Friendships on the other hand were all character specific finishers like Fatalities and were generally well received by the majority of fans. That's why I want them to return the most out of all the past finishers and that includes Hara-Kiri's. With the tech available now, the crew at NetherRealm could make them very cinematic and hilarious. They did that with Babalities in MK9 and they were actually pretty good, but I think they should sit this entry out.

Animalities could actually be pretty cool if NRS really wanted to include them, but I doubt they will. Maybe down the line as a DLC pack they could give 6-8 characters an Animality and see how the fans react. I wouldn't mind seeing a highly detailed dragon or some beasts from the different realms devour our favorite combatants in different ways.

Not sure what Brutalities would bring to table that x-rays aren't already doing, so I'm not too keen on them returning.

As for Hara-Kiri's sure, wouldn't mind seeing them again.

No matter what finishers they go with, I have complete faith that the team NRS are going to come through with something awesome. They hit their stride in MK9 and it's only going to get better from here on.
