Actually, Twilight took it to the worst level it could be taken. There's a difference between werewolves and wolves. Werevolves are what you see in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines,Dragon Age: Origins, WoW(Worgens),The Witcher, Skyrim, Morrowind etc.
Sadly, even The Sims 3 had better werewolves than Twilight. About the thread, animalities would make sense for Nightwolf and maybe Shang Tsung(he can morph to anyone he wants, so it shouldn't be a problem for him).

He changes into wolf. Like how Bigby Wolf(Fables and The Wolf Among Us) isn't a werewolf, Nightwolf isn't one, either. And the reasons of Twilight's "success" weren't its werewolves. They were the vampires(I didn't like that part either, because I'm a VtM fan) and the romance story between a superhuman and human.

Why is it whenever someone mentions Nightwolf's animality, the first thing people throw in is that shitty vampire series that teaches teenage girls to become necrophiliacs and performs acts of beastiality? Shut up about it for heaven's sake. This game and that series has nothing in common, there's no need to mention it at all. Bleh!

I agree with whoever said that animalities should only stay with people who've transformed into animals in fatalities. I don't want to see that shark that can amazingly swim through concrete again, or the amazing ability of Reptile changing into a monkey when he's clearly a reptilian creature.

It was a love triangle. And people like the werewolf/wolf roughly the same as others liked the vampire because all u see on YouTube is #TeamJacob or #TeamEdward. I think Nightwolf changes into a werewolf as werewoves stand on two legs while wolves stand on four legs (which is how wolves in Twilight stand). Seeing Nightwolf fight in his werewolf form would be nice, but Nightwolf fights in a clean style, animals are dirty, so Nightwolf gotta be more animalistic.

It really doesn't matter what some articles may say about Twilight. It pulled in nearly $3.5 billion so far. It had a formula that made it work. A love triangle between a werewolf, human and vampire. It would be cool to see a love triangle in MK involving different species.
