It should def be its.own game,MKX should b the best fighting game it can be with a ton of.dlc fighters but a.konquest game would be epic n all the battles have MKX's fighting with a.ton of unlockables.

I too agree with those that said they'd love another game with an open-world konquest mode, instead of incorporating that in MKX. I must be one of the 5 people that loved konquest in MKD. I hope we see something like that in the future, just not with Shujinko/Taven.

I loved MKD konquest too. If we see a spin off open world game, I hope for:
1) create our own characters to explore the MK universe with
2) have all 6 realms and have them really large with lots of different interesting things to run into while exploring.
3) be multiplayer
4) have us decide what to say to the NPCs we talk to (like in fallout3,skyrim and mass effect)
5) lots of side missions

This, fujin and unlockable characters is all I ask for.

yeah i woul d love to see a game like that.
