Scorpion has two Hanzo costumes.

1 from the story mode trailer with a yellow headband.

And one from the comic. With the hood and fur on his shoulder cuffs. This is my favorite scorp costume out of all of them, so I really hope it is in the game.
Subby also has the costume from the comic when he attempts to steal back the kamidagu. With a blue mask and no hood. That also just happens to be my favorite subby costume.
Really wish subzero didn't have an afro in his revenant costume...
Are we assuming the gray ninja with yellow highlights is kenshi ronin?

I dont think the terms "Primary" and "Alternate" should be used anymore. They worked when characters only had two skins, but now most characters will have 3+.

Also, we really don't know which skins are "Primary." As they said on stream, some of the skins seen since launch are actually alt skins.

This is just a minor thing, but I think it might be more helpful to use a descriptive instead of the terms "Alternate" and "Primary" especially since those termaterms aren't accurate anyway.

I was paying attention to Scorpion's MK9 costume in the MKX chapter 1 gameplay, it definitely is not just a copy and paste from MK9. They used Scorpion's base model in MKX and put the costume on it. So basically, Scorpion's MK9 costume would be considered his revenant skin lol.

I really wonder if Scorpion will get that as one of his alternate skins later on in the game. The same applies for every alternate appearance that any in-game character has. If Kenshi appears younger in story mode, can that version be unlocked later in the game? I think the answer is more than likely yes, but I tend to worry too much. We'll all find out in a month anyway.

That's Hanzo main costume but without the mask, the fur was added by the artist but it's the main costume (here is the costume with the fur and the mask):

The Sub-Zero costume is going to be used by his older self, with the beard and scar instead of the mask, the rest of the costume is pretty much the same thing.

It looked VERY feudal and with one sword in the back like Kenshi. The Shirai Ryu recruits looked really different in the comic.

About the 2 and 3 being the same... on closer look there are parts that look similar and you're probably right (there aren't any clean frontal shot of the mobile one to be really sure) but the color of both the beard and the costume is completly different and I don't know if they're showing alternate colors yet.

It's a generic Shi Ryu. There's, like, no doubt.

Also Kenshi's beard colour isn't different at all. Look at it in his character icon here, it's gray. His hair does look darker, but it also does have a lot of black left in it judging by the Cage family trailer, and I imagine certain lighting would make it look even blacker.

The costumes are also the exact same, any differences are probably because of the mobile version doing less details.

Where is a lot of this coming from?

I had heard of like, Gold and Cold War Scorpion. And the Ronin/Samurai pack. But this is the first I'm hearing of a lot of these skins. Like Farmer Jax, and Injustice Scorpion, I hadn't heard about either of those being confirmed for the game. These random outlier ones.

Someone point me at a link,

Yes. I believe Superman and Batman had each like (correct me if i'm wrong) 8 skins. While some characters like Killer Frost and Sinestro never got more than two. The majority ended up with about 3 skins each with some like Grundy/Joker/Catwoman had 5 skins each.

Why am I not surprised? Lol. As a Scorpion and Subby fan, I don't really mind the abundance of costumes for them. I just hope everyone else will get at least three.

All that concept art we saw JUST for Kitana and Reptile? Yeah, they can easily make it happen. There were some fantastic designs in there, and I'm sure that most, if not all, of the other characters went through numerous iterations as well.

Naturally, with so many costumes, there's bound to be some "hit and miss" scenarios going on, but that's the beauty of having so many options.

Well Kitana is becoming the females Scorpion in MKX with her alleged quest for vengeance and her anti-hero status. It's only fair she got the same amount of costumes as him. wink

There are more that i can't remember, i'll find the link for you. And it does not state which classic Kitana, but i'm hoping it's not her MK2/3 looks again, not only we got the the previous game, but they would look painfully plain now, her DA one was more detailed.

I'm hoping for a MK Legacy pack instead of the movie pack that was requested above. Kano is one of my least favorite characters but that legacy costume in game would be awesome. As well as skins for old ketchup and mustard if they make it. I like the robosuits in legacy.

Come on man!! Mortal Kombat 9 Sub-Zero skin is needed! Ed! Don't just give Scorpion his HD MK9 skin and pass up on Sub-Zero. Not COOL!
