I never thought Goro would be an underdog in this series. I mean yea he's well known to the diehards but not as ultimately recognizable as say Scorp, Sub, Kahn, Tsung etc. Granted these characters been affiliated with more titles.

I'm kinda surprised by that. Motaro if anything has always been more requested by fans then Goro.

I'm not a huge fan of mk's BIG BAD's really. Onaga was alright. But Goro to me will always be #1. Just wish he could choose his own destiny in the mk universe and not be a Henchmen for anyone.

Raidens eyes being red wasn't because of the Kamidogu's Power. After being reanimated into a host body. Because of the explosion and basically going mad with Liu Kang Dead and Shujinko fkn up and Bringing Onaga his power turned him mad. The kamidogu's power didn't affect that. His anger and rage did over Shujinko putting earthrealm in jeopardy.

When he cuts himself with the Kamidogu and starts seeing the future his eyes turned red just like Kotal Kahn's eyes when he used the Kamidogu.

Same goes for Fox, he used the Kamidogu and his eyes turned red.
