Poor Goro.

I don't think he'll come back from that, at least for a long time. The version of him we play in MKX is probably just him pre-unarmed, the game ranges 25yrs so the characters can be from any part of that timespan.

All he needs is a chainsaw and he'll be good to go

Is it just me or did anybody else notice that in the teaser of Goro his eyes are red and in the comics they are normal looking?

That could be because of the Kamidogu, because when Kotal Used the Kamidogu his eyes went red, same goes for Fox and Raiden.

I think he will get his arms restored via Kamidogu power.

The Same Kamidogu that made Fox cut his face off?

I'm guessing either that Kamidogu, because it resorted Fox's Skin or some of it before getting split down the middle. lol.

But there are other Kamidogus and we still don't know all their powers.

I like that Kamidogus are daggers now and that they each presumably have different powers.

But, the power to bring back dead and restore limbs is a shitty one and will just help them get away with a lot of stuff.

The Shokan always had Red Eyes.

Whatever Goro's story is in game, I doubt the comic will affect it since the game story came first.

Not really, In MK9 Goro had yellow stupid eyes very similar to Baraka's and Mileena's eyes.

but in the comics they are normal and Mileena's eyes in the comics are normal.

I think it's something with the art being funny.

My best guess is that the artist was high as fuck when he drew both Goro and Mileena.

Considering Goro is pre-order character, I'm pretty sure he will have no involvement in story mode. That and I don't think the comics preview what's to come in the game as much as you guys hope.

The comics are more of just a set-up for the game's story.

it doesn't lead into the story, it just builds up the world of the game's story and the story of the game is something different.

The comics introduce the characters and their stories, so when you go into the story mode of MKX, you'll know who each one is.

But it's really just dumb to cut goro's arms off in canon.

I should probably elaborate, I don't think another reboot is gonna happen that soon unless this ends up being a colossal failure. Which I doubt very much.

But with that said I still can't wait to get my hands on MKR2 where they will tell the story of 1,2,3,4,5,6 And Kotal Kahn will be there as well.

Reboots are all the rage these days, so yes, another one is likely inevitable at some point.

I'm really hoping one of the off strings will turn to the side of evil, I think that would be interesting for Jackqui, because as she stands. she is no where near interesting.

Goro in game could be Pre-severed limb Goro that doesn't have any involvement in the games story mode, just something extra for fans to have and play as.

He could somehow get his arms restored afterwards. He is definitely still alive after his altercation with Kotal, and im sure if he is planning on staying alive he would try to find a way to get his arms back, which probably shouldn't be too hard in the MK universe.

Sadly I think Goro being DLC will exclude him from the story mode in MKX that's usually how it works with the DLC characters or he could play a small part in the story where say he gets his arse kicked by Kotal kahn in one of his chapters then that's all we see of him!!!

As for his future with no arms I could see someone giving him new cybernetic arms like they did with Jax or just fading him off into obscurity he has a good run and is an iconic character but maybe they want to introduce a new monster sub boss to kick everyone's arse for a change!
