The old lore and MK9's endings seem to suggest we will see Sektor have some sort of run at the Lin Kuei. Whether or not he ends up successful will be shown, I suppose.
What gets me.
MKX Subzero says "For the Lin Kuei" in his intro. At this point, I am assuming that by the end of the story mode, one of the Subzero's will be in charge of the Lin Kuei.
Leads me to think a few possibilities: A) Sektor is playable and is defeated and/or killed by MKX Sub-Zero B) One of the time jumps will simply touch upon the fact that he was defeated and/or killed and we will move on without Sektor. Not playable. C) It will be skipped over completely and Subzero will just assume control.
