Anywho, OP, the problem with including a character from a specific region or country is the inability to do so without the character being a stereotype.

It's the same thing when certain fans want a gay character. I am a gay man, but wanting a character of a specific sexual orientation or ethnicity just for the sake of it, especially when neither has relevance to the character/in the MK universe when they are going to be dismembered, decapitated, bisected, etc.

The Hashashin doesn't sound like it fits in with the MKverse. Plus we already have Ninja clans, Crime clans with assassins, other realms with assassin guards, emperors with assassin daughters, assassin from hell. Why introduce another assassin group?

In my opinion I think they should take a character like Kira and make her like a Lord of War to the middle eastern countries on Earth. When she discovered Outworld via a portal she was never suppose to see; she tapped into the Outworld resources selling stolen SF equipment. Do not tie her into the Black Dragon but perhaps she could be an ally. She could be an ally for anyone paying the right price. I could see Kira as looking similar to She from the Machete movies, except Caucasian and with red hair. But keep the eye patch.
