He probably assumed the others could handle it like they always do.
He did ultimately change his mind and even led the team.

It would be a wise choice for another fighting game series, but not for MK since the best characters are good-aligned. MOst if not all of MK's villains are cliched, generic, boring and uninteresting so no thanks!

Lol we will never agree.
I never seen a female character with a horrid maw, I did see 10.000 blondes with big boobs being tough policewomen or whatever.

How many other blonde policewomen have there been in fighting games?
(And if that was a reference to Sonya, she's not even a policewoman.)

You know D'Vorah you make it seem like all good characters in all of fiction are bland mannequins with no personality, and by simply being evil it makes things more interesting. Well I don't know how to tell you this but good characters can be interesting and evil characters can be boring. It just depends on whose writing them.
Evil characters that do evil for the sake of evil are just as boring as characters who do good just for the sake of good, hell I'd say they're even more boring because at least I can understand trying to good things for no reason. I don't get why you would be an absolute evil asshole just because.

A game filled with only Bad guys tearing at each other's throats would automatically turn some of them into good guys for the time being. Final. One would have to sound more sympathetic than the other to keep the balance. I prefer having good guys being good guys actually. Than being somehow drawn to have empathy for a deceiver. We've seen bad guys turn on each other already in MK, that even before they could rejoyce in victory.

D'Vorah please stop with these ridiculous threads
If everything used to be black and white without any grey then that doesn't mean everything should be grey without any black and white. Or that no depth of focus is the new depth of focus.
I think a balance of both is good for storytelling. After all, one shade of grey can lighter than another.
