Anyone remembers how in Killer Instinct 2 your ending was very dependent on who you killed and who you didn't?
For example in Fulgore's ending if he kills neither Jago or Orchid they end up teaming up on him and destroying him. If he kills only one the other gets revenge, but if he kills both he gets his best ending.
Basically I want NRS to do something where enemies and in rare cases allies are placed in the ladder (Example: Sub for Scorpion or Kano for Sonya). And the final result is based upon who was hit with a fatality and who wasn't. What do you guys think?
I think -Brad- made a thread based off this idea in the Mortal Kombat (2011) section. It's an intriguing concept, but it may be a little too much for NRS to handle. Lol.
Yeah but what they are thinking of is story mode. I thought this could work for the arcade ladder since the endings are only vignettes. Also what they were thinking of was branching paths in story mode which would too many cutscenes. But then again your right this probably worked for KI2 because the cast was a little small.
