If it's true that that the final roster is ONLY 24 and there are only 8 spots left for ALL currently known characters, then it's really bad. New ones are probably 12, as Boon specifically said "probably more than we've ever introduced". He wouldn't have said that if the new ones were only 10.

So 4 places go to Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kano.
The German magazine almost confirmed Liu Kang, Johnny Cage and Sonya.
At Gamescom Boon said that interaction between parents and children is very important in the 25 years. (so Cage and Sonya are pretty much in, although this disputes the tweet about Sonya not being in cause she's not able to do fatalities on her own kid).
So 4+3=7, with Quan Chi who's the team's favourite, Tanya, who I'm betting is gonna be in cause Boon loves her, that's 9 already. As Sub-Zero is in, definitely one of Sektor, Noob and Frost have to be. That's 10. So just 2 more or the old characters? F*****s sake.
We have Ermac who is a fan favourite, Kenshi, Mileena, Baraka and Reptile as well. Shinnok will really be unplayable as final boss if he can't even keep himself in power for 25 years? NO.
But honestly, I don't care about any of these guys. I was looking forward to playing with Reiko, Daegon, Rain, Sareena, Havik and the other characters who had cameos in MK9. I will definitely miss Taven, who was a freaking protagonist of Mortal Kombat (so easily hated and forgotten by many). Screw that, if I'm getting only characters from MK9 plus Tanya I'm not buying this game.

They've basically turned her into a lesbian looking shemale with male face features. She's a woman, let her be a damsel in distress sometimes, that's what heroes are for.

But if they continue the trend, I'd rather see kool characters like Reiko, Rain or Daegon than have her in the game.
