HAIR is probably one of those things you wouldn't give much attention to, or you might regard it as trivial. It's not such a brand new idea. If you've ever played SHAQFU on SNES way back in the 2D days, even the Voodoo lady had free flowing hair. I suppose with me being attracted to visual arts, I might be more inclined to pay closer attention to detail in this area...so I am not nitpicking when I make this observation, but I was very impressed with VF's and DOA's ANIMATION when it comes to clothes and hair because they seem very TEXTURE oriented... I was also glad to see this feature in MK:DA--free flowing hair and clothes, but I noticed that it was probably a difficult thing to capture the texture of different types of hair, as with free flowing clothes... Sonya's hair was loose in MK:DA, though the animation was still a little strange because the top of her hair didn't move, and it floated when she walked, which it shouldn't do--it should bounce. I think they should try to motion capture the hair also when they do the animation. For instance, Lui Kang, being an Asian, is supposed to have the most flamboyant hair, but his doesn't move in MK:D...I think that it would be awesome if they could motion capture hair and clothes according to textures, and use animation with it also--a mixture of Motion capture and animation, and animate it according to TEXTURE and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS, i.e. if the wind is blowing hard, hair and clothes would blow with the wind, and if it is raining, hair and clothes would appear to be wet, which would work like the wear and tear feature...

Again, this is not criticism or nitpicking, just an observation.
