I would love to see a remastered MK2 game, but in all honesty, I wouldn't want the secret characters and bosses already available. I kind of would prefer if they were available after being earned somehow, like defeating them in battle (since the requirements for reaching Noob, Smoke, and Jade alone are already a feat in themselves). Shao Kahn and Kintaro should definitely be difficult to obtain though.
Giving them their own fatalities as well would be cool, and for the secret characters, update their move lists to not make them pallet swaps anymore (boomerangs for Jade, Smoke using his stinky cloud and teleport-uppercut, Noob Saibot with his ninja stars for example) updating the fatalities of the original cast (either new ones, or experiment with what hasn't been transfered to the 3-D games), maybe even re-introduce the Friendships for a laugh.
Yeah, that'd be sweet.

All right this is another and a good way to come to the secret fighters where i have to say that i would find it better when you can get the fighters with earning a content without cheating and any combat codes...

I would not like to have the secret characters selectable right off the bat though.
If it were to be remastered I would still want everything intact of how mysterious/secretive it was.

If they were to be playable then let's have it where there are certain specifications met to unlock them.Let's say for example...using the all sweep method to fight jade,then having to flawless her in the winning round to unlock her.That is just an idea to put out there of how things could go.

hell yea they should do that. a remake of MK2 will kick ass. u know, like how they remade street fighter 2 to make it look super clean in HD. as for some of the secret characters... we should get to play with at least noob, smoke, and jade, but not the sub-boss kintaro or shao khan. thatll mess up what MK2 was. now a good question will be should they leave the same fighting engine, tweak it up, or start from scratch. i would love this to happen b4 the next MK game comes out.

That ́s it what i ́m talking about and i ́m really think that Ed Boon himself knows what a famous game MK2 is. The question here is what we have in publicity when MK2 will be remastered. Maybe all these hating people like reporters newspapers magazines will shout out there more violent games and more brutality our kids will go insane. I can say that the american people are lucky that they don ́t must live in Germany. We ́ve so many problems with censoring by movies and games. I ́m looking always for imported games from the UK USA or Austria so i can play the games in original version uncensored and i must say that i ́m really glad that i can play MK2 in the original arcade version over MKSM or Midway Arcade Treasures 2 from the UK on PS2 but here i must say that you can play MK2 over MKSM only in the import version from XBOX but when you have the game in a break you will see that ́s the same game from Midway Arcade Treasures 2 that was paste in MKSM.
It would be very cool when this game have a comeback with great features but only as original game with own case.

Let ́s step back one more time to the part with censored games. I think lot ́s of MK guys and chicks knows the UMK3 game on XBOX360 live arcade. You can buy and download it for 800 microsoft points and the fucking hammer is that you can ́t get this classic nice game in Germany and it seems there ́s no way to get it even the try to download over the international option in xbox360.com has failed. I ́d to read: this supply is not for your country. FUCKING SHIT!!!

Yea man. To see MK2 in HD with all the blood n violence as i remembered as a child .

If they do go ahead and remake MK2 HD, should there be more secrets? Or better yet, i wanna c how the achievements are gonna b. and just because its the remake, itll b awesome if they add 1 new fatality to each character.
