The Return of MKast!

What's wrong with alternating Fights and Cutscenes? I think the method works for a re-telling of MK 1-3. Rather than trying to make some sort of minigame or Konquest style thing (which could distract from making the fighting portion the best they can), they go for cutscenes, which can give a cinematic feel to the story.

Oh I absolutely don't want any Konquest mini adeventure game crap belive me.
I was just hoping they'd do something new with the story mode. Like have it focused on lots of different type of matches, endurance matches, tag matches etc etc.
It would really prefer it if they made a story for each character. They don't have to have a lot of story, just a little and lots of fighting.
And yes I know we have arcade mode in the game, I'm just saying what I'd want out of a story mode.

Well, the way it was done in MK vs. DC was awesome. Possibly the best "Mortal Kombat Story Mode" I've ever seen, at least in terms of narrative and game flow. It was way better than any Konquest mode.

I say if it's gonna follow MK's 1-3, start off the game by doing a strict tournament style 1on1 matches. Then when MK2 hits, switch things up a bit more, like an endurance round since Kahn's involved and he's a sneaky bastard. Then for MK3, introduce Tag-team into the mix since it's supposed to be an invasion between realms, a 2on2 deathmatch of sorts.

I don't understand this attitude. If you don't want spoilers, wouldn't it make more sense to just not listen to MKasts?
Save the endings and maybe Raiden's time alterations in the Story Mode, I'd be more than happy to know everything there is know ASAP, particularly about the roster.

Why though? What's wrong with not wanting to know EVERYTHING about the game until it actually comes out?
Why would you wanna know everything about it ASAP? You don't want any surprises or things to actually look forward to discovering for yourself?
I thought this was one of the beauties of MK, more so the old school MK, where you looked forward to discovering things.
Having said that, I think you misunderstood my post a little bit. I don't mind them showing off new things about the game or telling us new things before the game comes out. All I'm trying to say is that I don't wanna know about 90% of the game 8-9 months before it even comes out. I don't remember exactly how they gave us info on MK vs DC or how much they provided before the game actually came out.
If they slowly but surely give us tidbits here and there between now and 8 months from now, then that's fine. I don't mind it. Again, I just don't wanna know everything about the game so soon. That's all.

i dont think you have to worry about that company's aren't aloud to give away to much anyways thats how some employees get fired or in trouble and you remember MKast last time one of them almost spilled to much info a couple of times and was saying how worried they were for not letting that info out or else they get in trouble so im sure you have nothing to worry about especially thinking they would tell 90% of the games info 8-9 months before its release XD

better be able to play story mode with every single character, it pissed me off in MKvsDC that u could only play as limited characters, like 8DC and 7MK
it seemed unfinished
