A negative opinion is still an opinion; if the thread was simply gushing over how amazing people thought the sound effects were it probably wouldn't be very interesting.
And like I spoke with him via PM, he is allowed to have a negative view on the subject as long as he makes a constructive criticism or a post about it.
Simply posting a mocking picture showing how little you care about it does not help his case and it doesn't help yours.

If this was really OK, we might as well just have a special generic "poop picture" to post around in threads where we "don't give a shit" or "sleeping animals" for threads that we don't find interesting but still feel the need to post something (anything) anyways. That would be the beginning of the end.
