I for one, actually find Skarlet very interesting.

Since her initial 'rumour' I've always wanted her to become an actual character. Believe it or not I actually 'created' her in Armageddons KAK mode back in the day!

Initially I wasn't overly fond of her attire, but after seeing her properly and witnessing her awesome alternate, I must say her look has grown on me a lot.

I would've added an extra T to her name, no big issue, but I think Skarlett looks more appealing.

Her storyline isn't phoenonemal, but it works. I especially like that she is Shao Kahn's 'last resort'. It gives you a sense of just how much of a crazy bitch she could be. I'd have fleshed her out a little bit more, perhaps branching further than having Quan Chi as her only vendetta, but for now I think this is enough to introduce her to us.

I do hope however, that as many of you as possible purchase her, whether you're all that fussed about her or not. If her sales are strong then that's going to do nothing but entice NRS to release more DLC as there'd be demand. So in the long run we may get more DLC than what they'd planned to released. Think about it!

Can't wait to download her. Her gameplay looks fierceeeee!

I hope in MK10 she comes into story mode and tries to avenge Shao Kahn and hunt Raiden down.

Also I want a Klassic Kostume for her, I mean after all, she is a rumor character.

Skarlett has a pretty acceptable look and storyline, given that she's just an extra character based on a rumor.

Kenshi and Rain's silhouettes look awesome, especially Rain's. Hopefully his inclusion will finally silence the ranting fanboys. Can't wait to see what they give him for a background story and objective in this game.

As for the ??? character, the silhouette looks almost like he's wearing a nice suit. He looks like he's wearing classy shoes and dress pants of some sort, at least. But it could be just a generic silhouette to throw us off and screw with our heads.

Skarlet is now my favorite female fighter. And it's about time Boon reveals Rain - that was a dumb mistake not including him and I personally hope they learned their lesson for next time.

Anyone heard of the price for Skarlet? Think it'd be $5 again?

yessss !!! i am super excited for rain. lol my nick name in real life is rain. has to do with my last name ! but ive always loved him, being my second favourite character. his silhouette looks very sleek. i cant wait to play with him. actually .. i can't wait to play the game lol. here i am the biggest mk fan in probably the universe, been an obsessed fan ever since the first game. haha i can honestly say that mortal kombat has been one of the biggest influences in my life (im a martial artist) lol dont worry i dont go around performing fatalaties on people. but i have still, yet to actualy play the new game. my recent move to vancouver has kept my funds a little low, so i cant afford a game system or the game, or even a television. hahah but my anticipation only grows as i have followed the media for this game since the beginning. this makes me very excited knowing that when i return home, and can afford to buy the game. i will have RAIN ! as a character to play with. i love mortal kombat :)

I hope Skarlet and Rain make it into MK 10 too and not as DLC. Both have huge potential. Rain finally needs to step up and become the awesome character he can be. Enough of being known as the ninja who only shows up once every ten years.

Skarlet needs to be in MK 10 because I'm tired of new characters debuting and then never being seen again. Let's do with her what we didn't do with Nitara, Kira, ect, let's follow through with her.

From my understanding, even if you don't buy Skarlet you'll get a free patch that you download so you can fight people online who has her, by downloading that patch you also get classic Cyrax and Sektor-who are also free.

This is the best news I've heard in weeks!! Thank god we are finally getting Rain. Next time they better not leave him out from the main roster, that was just stupid.

For every person who ripped on a Rain fan on these boards for wanting him included or laughed at us when he wasn't announced, suck on it. I don't care if that sounds immature, we've waited since forever to even see his name associated with this game and despite all odds he's now included. And seeing how Skarlet's been treated, I can guarantee you he'll come back 100x better than ever!
