I really REALLY REALLY hope it ́s just the same fatality slightly modified afterwards... I mean, even if he spits fire in the second version, how fucking unoriginal is that overall!?!?!? It ́s all chop chop and then a move, be it split the head or fire it up.

Thats what I'm hoping, but I can't figure out why they would show Scorpions 1st fatality to Gamespot (during E3), and a somewhat modified version of his first fatality to people in the MK Booth (also during E3).

Maybe its like a simplified version of create a fatatality where there are buttons you must enter and variables. Ok, heres an example if that didnt make sense, For Scorpions fatality: down, down, x or square( x cuts chest square cuts legs) forward or up ( forward kicks body apart and, up upercuts body apart) triangle or square ( triangle breathes fire or square cuts head in half). Its a reasonable explanation.

With the way Boon talks about secrets game, I could easily imagine something like that being the game.

It would pretty neat, if you think about it.
*sigh* heres how it goes people.

#1 Fatalty: Pulls out sword pulls it back then (while in slow mo) slices your stomach in half. then comes back with the sword (also in slow mo) and chops you head off. Then he kicks the torso sending it flying the in background and his legs fall. The persons head (while floating in air) gets decapitated in half with a powerful slice from scorpions sword.

#2 Fatality: He pulls out sword (agian) but this time slices the feet of the victim. Then slice the head off and it also flaoting it air.....thats all i got so far. I know he does something more then that so whatever it is, we havn't send the full version yet.

thats all the information i got for now.

In Batman 1989 the joker didnt have makeup in may of the scenes, doesnt mean its not the joker.

Scorpion with his Toasty is like a superhero without superpowers.
OH SNAP! Batman doesn't have superpowers!!

Anyway, back on topic. Scorpion hasn't had his Toasty move for ALL MK games. He didn't have it for Deadly Alliance, Deception, or Armageddon.

Regardless, it IS one of his signature moves and I think it should only be brought back as a fatality if they change it somehow, but I do NOT like the idea of him using it on someone who is already dead / decapitated. If I remember correctly, wasn't it used as a special - none-fatality move in MK4?

Scorpion has had some other awesome fatalities in the past that could also be re-used or re-imagined. I do not like the idea of having two similar fatalities at all - it defeats the purpose of having two in the first place. Personally, the second fatality should not involve his swords at all, and instead should include some sort of fire based attack to be truely different from the first.

Probably common knowledge now but his second was doable at PAX and there's no toasty. He catches the falling head and that's it. Mileena's torso rip was active too.
