Scorpions second fatality?
Scorpions second fatality?

I dunno how many fatalities they're giving each character, but I saw what appears to be scorpions second fatality, and it's not his iconic flame breath.
Fatality montage
At 1:11 it appears he cuts off your legs, then does something? The footage after it cuts back to him is his first shown one at the demonstration at E3. It would seem very wrong not to give him his flame breath fatality, which leads me to believe characters might get three?!

Na man, it's different.
Scorpions 1st one is the 1st clip
In his first one, he chops the body in half, chops the head, kicks the body, the chops the severed head in half.
In this second one, he chops them at the knees, then it appears that the chops their head off or somthing.
For a third one, if possible, I would love Toasty.

I think having two identical fatalities is lame. Unless he breathes fire at the head in midair or something..

I'm hoping that the chopping their knees off one is just so they can't run away before he pulls his mask off and breathes the fire. If he's got two that are just cutting the opponent up with a sword and nothing else, it'd be terribly uncreative for a character with so many different damn powers.

That's what im saying!
Sadly though, although cutting thier legs off so they can't run to set up for it sounds good, it looks like all he is about to do is something else with his sword. Not pull of his mask

Well I'm not convinced that the rest of the clips aren't all from his first Fatality.
Or, frankly, this knees chop scene could have originally BEEN part of the first Fatality and it was changed right before the build for E3.

We've seen two already from certain characters (Kung Lao, Sub Zero, Scorpion) and after MK vs DC it's safe to say that's how it's gonna end up. I think it's gonna go how RazorsEdge mentioned and have the leg chop lead into the classic toasty fatality

Does Scorpion really need the fire breath fatality? I mean FFS hes had it in every game and its a lame fatality. Id much rather him get something more creative than just breathing fire on someone

After he cuts off the legs from the knees, he swings his sword and severes the head of his opponent and the head goes flying around like a loose rocket in midair. That's it.

Look at the video carefully and you'll see it.

I'm pretty sure that head spinning through the air is part of his first fatality.
I made this move compilation and put together the frames of his second Fatality, He chops off Nightwolf"s legs then his head and it goes in the air while spinning and no more is shown, my guess is that he could breathe fire in to the body remains.

Nice job^ I told you guys so.... It would be pointless for him to torch the remains if the guy is pretty much dead after all that.

Look at Kung Laos Fatality were he splits open a headless body...Same for Cage who rips a torso after ripping the head off...ect. Looking at the vid, Scorpions Fatality could continue after the head chop.

I hope the second uses his powers, because they make him special and more than a ninja with swords.
He can use fire, summon things from hell, drag the opponent in,teleport the opponents head off etc.
Their is no excuse for copying the same basic idea for both fatalities.

I was thinking it may be just a variation of the first one.

I really REALLY REALLY hope it ́s just the same fatality slightly modified afterwards... I mean, even if he spits fire in the second version, how fucking unoriginal is that overall!?!?!? It ́s all chop chop and then a move, be it split the head or fire it up.
The ideal scenario of course would be that you could actually decide which body parts he slashes. That ́d b pretty cool

I was going to mention this in my previous post. I don't see why characters actually kill their opponent first and then cut the remains of the corpse. It's visually cool but it just doesn't make sense. Like scorpion cutting the head in half, it looks neat but the guys already dead from the decapitation. I'm not complaining just stating the facts.

You play Mortal Kombat for how realistic it is and how much it makes sense?
