I'm definitely liking the Retro Ninja Kostumes. If only for the nostalgic vibes... also liking the little differences like the eyes or slight skin coloring. Might order another copy at Best Buy to get Sub Zero's Retro on day one.

But... Where is Rain? I played UMK3 yesterday and both Rain and Noob and Smoke is in there.

Not to mention Sindel, Sheeva(maybe she's been revealed) Shang Tsung, Kabal,

I doubt these are truly "exclusive."

I'm sure the content will be available for purchase some time after release.

Rain was only in console versions not the arcade, and boon is basing this one off of the arcade version, not to mention he included him in the "who would you like as the first dlc character" thing. sorry :P however we know that noob kabal smoke and sindel are in, we've seen screenshots of sindel, and noob's, kabal's, and smoke's voice were in the audio leak.

The reason they haven't shown a classic costume for Rain, Noob Saibot, or Smoke is because they aren't officially announced yet.

That DLC question was no confirmation of Rain's exclusion. Most people don't seem to realize that.

Pretty cool but I seriously hate video games that offer exclusive pre-order bonuses only. Like you have to buy it here to get a certain DLC. Technically they are not giving us all the full potential of the game on its release. To get one of the above mentioned costumes we have to pre-order from a certain retailer. Well I'd rather have them all. I know they may offer them later as DLC but it is really awful that video game companies do things like this. Why not release them all on street date by purchasing them? I am still however psyched about this game and cannot wait for it to be released.

I Really like these costumes. I want them all, but I've decided on getting Reptile. I've always been a fan of human Reptile, besides I was really disappointed with his bird face ;) I believe will be able to download all of the exclusives within the first couple months after it's release. Can't wait to see these outfits in game play.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see MK2 and UMK3 classic skins as well at some point.

Although I've been quite vocal about DLC, there's no way I'm going to miss out on Reptile's one due to foolish pride. It looks Ace! Likewise I'm liking Scorpions one, and Sub-Zeros. Ermac's is cool but I would have thought his UMK3 outfit would have been his classic since technically that was the first one he ever wore.

Well, he did sorta "first" appear as an Error Macro in MK1, so why not? Besides, they're clearly trying to reference the palette swaps with this, and if one person has an overly unique one...it's not a palette swap.

I get why they done it like, I suppose I'm just not used to seeing him in that particular outfit. Not to the point it bugs me like, but when I think Retro I just assume its his UMK3 one, just as I would with Rain. I'm looking forward to seeing Noob's Classic outfit, I imagine it'd look quite creepy!

I *really* hope you're right about this. He could have put Rain (and Robo-Smoke) on there to throw us off the scent, so to speak.

As far as the Klassic outfits go,
I chose Reptile a long time ago, as I don't like his new look.
Ermac will be a nice bonus!

Maybe they're going to use this Retro Sub-zero Costume for the Elder Sub Zero before he's killed by Scorpion. Makes sense to me.

Why are more people not commenting about this?

I would think that the news that you recieve Ermac for ANY preorder, and that he's not only available in the collector's edition (or so it sounds) would have drawn more attention.

One guy commented on it on page 2, but then someone corrected him and said Ermac was in the KE, but that's NOT what this news blurb says. :P

They will be added in later... like that one user said.. until there announce is when they might mention the skins for them

The reason Rain, Noob and Smoke aren't with them is because they aren't reveiled yet, and I don't think Rain is ninja anymore... They try to cut his ninja parts, he will be the games biggest suprise!

Remind these words when you start loving Rain more than Scorpion.

And about these costumes... Well I don't care about them, let the Playstation have them, I don't even want them.

MK's twitter definitely confirmed the retro costumes for the female ninjas.

It said something like: Pro-tip: "classic ninja cotumes are not only for the male ninjas" or something like that.

I couldn't care less about this classic outfits, but, they really are a nice touch for the die-hard ninja fans.

I'm only interested in the Fatalities.

Rain is a ninja always has been referred to as one, and fans always will call him a ninja.

I already love Rain more than Scorpion. I hate Scorpion.

It's not confirmation, but it's a very strong reason to believe he's out of the roster.

I don't believe his absence should surprise anyone, really. He wasn't playable in any the first three games or even UMK3.

Awesome dude all these coustumes are better looking then the charcters primary coustumes in the game. I wish I could get Reptiles because his human coustme is the best. The only one i can get is Scorpions but thats ok because hes is still awsome. But out of the 4 i would say his is my least fav. Ermac WOULD be my least fav but his primary coutume looks so stupid tht this one looks awesome.
