think i just shit my pants. that is the coolest damn thing i have seen from mk9 so far, but that might have something to do with my obsession for the 3 storms in big trouble in little china. raiden was my favorite character by far in mk1 and i would love to have him back on the top of my list once again. kitana was my main in mk2, and rightly so., replacing raiden. thanks for posting that. love it!

Well yeah considering he's had all-white eyes since the first game. That's just a characteristic of him. This is as just as wrong as if they woulda put pupils on Scorpion

The lighting effects in the widget doesn't seem really good, they should be covering his whole body like in MKDA.

He should have a asian face. That would solve everything. That hat goes only with a asian face.

Remember Liu Kang first revealed pic ? He was drawn a "bit diferent" , but in the official video, was all asian look, so, the same with this Raiden here : his wallpaper conception is not the same in the game .... in the official trailer, it's obvious Raiden was showed with his white thunder-god eyes.

I don't like the fact that he suddenly has pupils. If it's just for the render then that's fine. Niggle aside, this is otherwise beautiful. I cannot wait to see some gameplay footage of Raiden!

The wallpaper is sweet as hell, but it's a logical complaint. He's had completely white eyes throughout the entire series so them leaving that out is extremely noticeable. If the render for Mileena had her without a fucked up face im pretty sure people would stop and be like "ummmm what?" It's not necessarily a complaint about the render itself but just a characteristic of the fighter that they shouldn't have forgotten

Notice it looks more like the arms are disintegrating rather than just "cutting" off like other fatalities. There doesn't even look to be much blood, looks more like ash.

I think this is a case of "let's wait and see".

if the eyes are the only thing bugging ya then that is pretty good by mk fan standards! perhaps his eyes in the wallpaper appear like that only during fatals and special moves. who knows!

The wallpaper is cool I like it, what I dislike is that it seems most fatalities involve dismembering which is getting rather boring.

Keeping characters' eyes right isn't exactly some impossible mountain that can never be climbed.

And it's not like every fatality HAS to involve arms falling off. It's not HARD to program an exploding body, considering they've never had a problem doing it in any game before.

His in-game model looks outstanding. Glad to see the lightning surround him again. But his stance somehow makes him look tired... As if he is saying, stay away from me.
