Cyrax one is old. Sektor's is neat though. I like both of their designs, but I'm not sure how I feel about Sektor's blue eyes. No biggie though, renders are always nice. Decent Mortal Monday. :)

I think that's a really unfair assessment to be honest. We're still getting new info, whether it's something that we're thrilled about or not. I'd love to see gameplay footage of Ermac, Jade, Sindel, Kratos, Goro etc but the fact that we haven't gotten this info yet just adds to the hype and mystique in my view.


In regards to the renders, I love them, although the Cyrax one isn't new, it's still pretty cool and I love Sektor's, his redesign has definitely made him much more interesting to me. The goro head looks beastly too, awesome update, no complaints here

Cyrax just looks great. Sektor looks great from the neck down. I look at his face, I see two giant cartoon beaver teeth, but that's just me.

Try to see the spartan facemask from the spartan helmets in "300". He's even spartan red in color too.

What do you all want? Every little thing and nuance about the game all at once, then nothing for the several months leading up to release? I like having bits and pieces of info here and there leading up to release. And do believe that the release of info is entirely strategic.

I cant help it but i think the designs are really awful, both of them looked much better in MK3. Both of them resembled Predator alot but now they look generic... Also i hope they still have their robotic voices when you punch them, always loved that sound

Back in MK3 they were the exact same design just different colors.

I'm mean back in the day the whole predator style was cool, but I want new and improved designs that differentiate Cyrax and Sektor fighters even though they are both cyborgs.

Goros head looks humorous, but renders looks pretty cool, very nice work, especialy stature of Cyrax looks very awesome and very nice grayed..

It really shouldn't have taken them almost a century to release these kind of "old material" for already "old" and confirmed characters.

Back then, when a character was confirmed, it would receive a decent amount of attention with screenshots, his/her one very awesome render, and at least some kind of video...now?.....not so much.

Months and months and more months of only Scorpion and Sub-Zero bullshit and now, years after the silly website was "updated", a single Mileena month. There's over 15 characters and still nothing online or HQ from the majority.

It all has remained exclusive for magazines and we've only seen part of it thanks to bad quality scans (for all of us who can't actually afford the mags or even get them considering they are spread all over the world). Ugh.

No one is saying they should reveal everything now. I have trouble calling renders "a reveal" anyway. That's simply stuff we've already seen in better quality.

I agree that criticizing the act of giving us Cyrax/Sektor artwork is uncalled for; it looks great and I don't mean to sound ungrateful. That said, I also agree that this doesn't erase six months of bad marketing. BTW, I wasn't even going to bring up the marketing issue until users started to give the "stop complaining!" tirades.

And for the record, NRS never said they were going to have a "secretive" marketing approach. That's purely fan speculation. They said they weren't going to document secrets. The fans took it upon themselves to define "secrets" as "anything we haven't seen yet."
