It's great to see Sonya. Thank you Hector, Hans and MK Team for this awesome video!

I love the MKasts and I can't wait to see more. I'm really happy they have them as video snow, even though I admit it was really cool just to get the special sound effects as clues or confirmations of something new or secret. It added to the suspense and mystery, but, seeing the way they did this video is really cool.

I hope we get some new stuff on the next one.

Come on guys, its just the first one and (I'm not done watching it yet) I'm pretty sure that after all the info we've already been given in the last couple of weeks, this video is still a great thing to have.

The MKasts for MKvsDC were all fantastic and entertaining, so, I'm sure we will get some pretty cool and interesting stuff in these video Kasts. We can probably expect new info in the next one, but for now, I think this is cool.

I don't understand why some of you are so upset. They really don't have to make this for you, you know? This is a nice treat to the fans, not an obligation.

nothing really new i see

Eh, yea it was pretty lame. At least there was a high def shot of Kitana's opening. That's growing on me pretty good. Not flashy, but classy. Also some cool combos shown. I LOVE how big Reptile's super forceball is :D

I need that official forum! Were we can talk to them directly!

Its a nice opener to whats going to come next. Also they said renderes are going to be put up in a couple of weeks.

It's only the first one, so I'm sure there are kinks that need to be worked out. I sincerely doubt that Hector will be reading questions from his phone via Twitter in the future.

It would be nice if they had a sort of moderator that was just there to ask them questions, keep the conversation moving and sort of keep everything organized. That would make it feel a bit more natural and less like two guys sitting next to one another, talking about the game they're making because they have to for X number of minutes.

Another suggestion would be to have one place to ask questions. Not Twitter accounts or Facebook or the yet-to-be-created forums on themortalkombat.com, but maybe an e-mail address like, I dunno, MKastquestions@netherealm.com or whatever, so that everyone knows where to send questions that might get answered.

Another idea would be to have a link on the new MK forums that shows all f the questions that have been answered. It wouldn't be that hard to organize either. Just have someone put the questions in certain categories like "technical" "gameplay" "characters" "story" "modes" or something like that, then people can look through the archive and see if their question was asked and what the answer was.

To me, those last two things together would go a long way in making it so they don't get 400 people asking "is Kano in the game?" "Is Kano in the game?" "Hey guys, just wondering if Kano's in?" "Any update on Kano?" etc etc etc etc.

Well, it might go a long ways, or people could just keep asking regardless lol.

Still, I hope we see more of these in the future!

Great! It's nothing too new, but it was still awesome to get the MKast back regardless. I look forward to the future ones. I'm so excited for this game!

Whats wrong with twitter, and facebook asking questions. Heak everyone asks questions on twitter now a days.

however the main website if they get it going maybe they can have a MKast questions topic. That i agree with ya.

I realized something about Mileena, during her Fatality on Johnny Cage her eyes were first black then they gradually turn to yellowish evil. Nice!!
Kung Lao X-ray on Johnny Cage has 2 mistakes when he first hits him on the "right" neck:
1) The opponent upper body turns in the opposite way (since Kung Lao hit Johnny Cage on his "right" neck, so Johnny Cage upper body should turn to the "left" side and not the "right" side).
2) The opponent grabs with his hand his "left" neck instead of his "right" broken neck.

Nice MKast... looking foward to the next one... wonder how long the wait will be...

Also I am excited that I got plugged for a question about the e3 demo video gameplay even though Hector mispronounced my last name... but its alright... I get it chopped up all the time...

sonya looks good nice to see she still has her huge rack.

Not too much information, but fun to watch. Best of all, there's a ton of high quality footage. Sure, we've seen it before, but it's still beautiful.

I mean if you thought you were going to get anything new then you thought wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sorry just wan't it to do that.I mean when u think about it they did show sonya and even though she was in her mk vs dc uniform she still was showen in the same way in the shadows trailer scorpion had his mk vdc outfit on.So it just shows me she is in the game.

yeah most likelly was a mock up or early pic as scorpion is using his MK vs DC costume in that pic too,thought it could be that the MK vs DC costume are altenates for the characters that were on that game.

I think MKvsDC costumes as third (or extra) alternates would be awesome.

Most of those designs were absolutely fantastic and even perfect (Sonya, Jax, Scorpion, Shang Tsung, etc.), so, it wouldn't hurt to have them in the game as a third or "free" alternate. I actually think it would be a nice treat to fans.

However, if they are only added to fill the room for just one alternate, than yeah, that would suck big time (only 1 new costume and 1 copy/paste from a previous game, not a good idea). I don't mind the same costume/hair style/overall design of a character's past game pasted into a new character model as long as we are getting enough new variety (meaning more than 1 new costume/design).

since ed boon said they were working on MK 9 when DC comics came to them and asked for a crossover those costumes in the MK vs DC game could have been the original designs for the MK 9 game but just said
"fuck it we already modeled these new looks we might as well use them for the mk vs dc game then just model some more new ones for MK9, then we can use the last models for alternate costumes " just a guess :P

I hope we get a more feminine Sonya, this time around. Her face I mean, lol. As for her outfit, I'd prefer her to go back to a modern version of her black, white and green jumpsuit. Probably like Jax's rendition in the fan submissions.

OMG!! They showed Sonya and even tho they showed her in her MK vs DC attire,that let's me know she's in the game which I knew but still nice to know. I'm sure they'll reveal more in the coming months tho!!! I'm stoked thus far #teammk

It's getting annoying listening for 15 minutes and nothing new. Yes the game plays in 2D. I know that for 4 months now.
