Wu Lae though? Kind of wonder how i could ever care for a guy who was too chicken shit to fight Taven alone in MKA. He was basically just running from the character while you would face his guards.

Personally, I think there has to be a little bit of give and take.
How routinely have major characters been made to look stupid for story modes, or other sequences? It'd be nice to take for granted new characters who are more evolved and ready to be embraced, but in the scheme of things, Wu Lae is still pretty ahead of the game. Particularly when you look at where characters like Ermac, or Noob, or Rain started, and where they've ended up.

The same could be said for Tremor, obviously. Tremor at least has the benefit of not having that specific a narrative weakness, despite essentially occupying the same role as an adventure game boss. The expanse of what hasn't be decided, and the potential for context to be tweaked, means there are a lot of possibilities for characters like these, who at least have a foot in the door.

Hum, probably because the first sight at the guy (Wu Lae) didn't impressed me i'm downgrading something that could eventually become a cool thing.

And i just wish to correct myself: I wanted to write "Sareena".

Actually there were 2 different times that NRS said that we will get certain characters that we never got, well they didn't lie it's just the way they worded it. One was when the Skarlet, Tanya, Cyber-Smoke, Shinnok, Kenshi, and Rain. The other said that Skarlet, Kenshi, Fujin, Frost, Rain, and Sareena; lol, I remember a LOT of people got upset because we alread had Sub Zero, Cyber Sub Zero, and Noob Saibot so Frost was like a total waist of space.

I would totally $hi! myself if out of the blue we got more off-disk DLC like more characters. What if we got that odd set of 4 unused characters shared with us the other day: Sareena, Aqua, Tremor, and Wu Lang. I could see a neat storyline for Tremor with him impersonating the Lin Kuei and being enemies of Red Dragon; also Sareena would be a nice addition. I really don't like the idea of Aqua though, I'd prefer someone else like Hydro yet we really don't need another water-based fighter especially someone that looks like that in Mortal Kombat I mean Freddy Krueger is understandable but a duck-billed humanoid lol, save that for Marvel Comics's Howard The Duck for a Marvel fighting game. I'd really like to see Kia and Jataaka enter the fight, especially Jataaka she is freakkkky looking.

What would be awsome is also without telling anyone, hide some SU fights/characters through Free DLC in a way that nobody knew it was added. The game's been debugged already a million times so we already know all the secrets, this could be a very sneaky way for them to trick media/us. Like when this game came out, I had lots of free time on my hands and actually made charts with every possible character/costume and did everyone's Finishing Moves/X-Rays/Moves on every character on every stage. It did take months but finally got it along with every achievement, unfortunately nothing happened; but what if they added something like that NOW, nobody would ever find it cuz we already tried/failed. That would be 1 sneaky Boon if he did lol and a first time any game ever did something like that.

i think wu lei is gonna be the next character. i just hope they don't make him look like a knight that belongs in world of warcraft. Aqua looks funny i bet he's a combination of Vegeta and donal duck.

Tremor kinda sounds cool. I like that ex or corrupt Lin Kuei and now Black Dragon member angle. Might be cool to have a feud between the two organizations. I also like how his powers are elemental, like Sub Zero's and Smokes, he at least fits in with them.

Also don't have a problem with NRS including new characters just to have them be killed off in badass fashion by one of the permanent characters. Always kinda bugged me that for a tournament stressing mortality nobody ever died and stayed dead.

I really wish they would at least add Tremor. There are many routes to go with him movewise so he's not too similar fighting like Jax or looking like Scorpion, I mean all of the pallet-swaps have completely different looks now, plus his should become a darker brownish shade and his skin should have cracks in it and resemble that of a bolder.

Movewise I'd like to see him summon a bolder to fall on opponent (bigger one for super version), shoot a fireball that opens into 3 fireballs when activated (the 3 turn into 3 more themselves totalling 9 for his super), Seizmic Lift he summons a piece of the ground up hitting opponent close, mid-screen, and far (does 3 for a juggling super), geyser trap, if stepped on it shoots opponent up for a juggle (does 3 for s uper version in a juggle), Dirt-devil Teleport close, mid-screen, and far (Super Version hits opponent if they are in his path), and Quicksand Trap (Super Version lasts permanent).

For a Fatality, I'd love to see him summon a 3D volcanic crater around the opponent and have it erupt and they can't get out, make it way better than Scorpion's Lava Pool in MKD. For a second Fatality, he should uppercut the opponent onto a ground stalagmite that he summons impaling their lower torso, and have one fall from above opponent impaling their head and separating the torso from the previous impale based on the impact of it falling on them. If they really wanna be generous, a 3rd basic fatality for him could be 2 large flat slabs of rock that smash the opponent like a fly-swatter.

As for tremor boon has commented in twitter about how tremor is the new rain and 40 is the new 30. He was being typical boon but even he realizes tremor is gaining a fanbase maybe with enough urging he can be in the next MK game.
