I wasn't fond of Hara Kiri's either. It took the feeling of Mortal Kombat from FINISH HIM" to "HURRY! FINISH HIM QUICK!" / "lolololol u couldn't touch me in time so i kill myself".
Plus, almost of all them were so stupid and took no thought.
But I do like your idea. Let them kill themselves if they never won a round, at least then it will have a meaning.
